Kept My Feet Warm!
Admittedly my feet don’t get cold super easy, but I hate using disposable items, so I got these for the really cold days. In zero degrees with up to -20 windchill my feet were totally fine with these & a bootglove. Also wore them watching my son ski jump where I’m just standing still & they performed better than the disposables. Only drawback is they are (probably necessarily for the heating elements) thicker than the socks I usually wear and made it more difficult to get my ski boots off. Still worth it!

Only Worn Socks Four Times.
I’ve worn these socks four times. I haven’t worn them in really cold weather yet. I don’t think they warm your toes just the under part of your foot. Another issue is when I check the socks after a couple of hours skiing one sock is almost always turned off. I think maybe my pants put pressure on the on/off button and turns them off.

Could Not Fish In The Winter Without Them!
Next to my 6-wt fly rod, these socks are the best thing I own for winter wading. Do they keep my feet warm all day? No. Do they get me through 3 hours of wading and fishing in ice-cold water without losing feeling in all my toes? Yes, they do. I could not winter fish without them and they make me smile every time I slip my feet into my waders and turn them on - even if I don't catch anything.

Sure Helps With Frigid Minnesota Winter
this is my 3rd pair. 1st pair was remote controlled. Upgraded with good deal for 2nd pair, it was top foot heating with push button on sock. This final pair because I lost the batteries while traveling. It was open box so it was cost effective to just buy the whole sock set up. Now I have 2 pair I'll use. Giving remote control set to my daughter. I live in Northern Minnesota. I have to wear these anytime I leave the house except spring/summer. They are life changing for me. My favorite pair would be this last pair heating from the sole of foot!

Waste Of Money
DOESN'T DESERVE 1 STAR. Bought this today, RETURNING TOMORROW. Did not get hot, let alone "very hot" as advertised. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. V flimsy construction where the battery gets inserted in the sock. A wrong twist & the wires will detach, then the sock will be more worthless than it already is.

Amazing!
I have ice fished since I was 6, and I am now 60. I do not recall a time when my feet did not feel like frozen blocks of ice. Until last week when I used your socks. Five degrees at sunrise with a high of 12 degrees was no match for your socks. Thank you! They work!

Toasty Feet In Northern Minnesota Winters
Absolutely love the new design. My previous version had a remote control. These now just have button on side of sock. Only reason I gave a 4 is because I think my older pair with a 3.7 V battery has a longer battery life even with them being 2 1/2 yrs old than these 5v batteries.

The Perfect Winter Fly Fishing Socks
These socks make winter fly fishing and wading in butt-freezing cold water an enjoyable undertaking. I also have the 3V socks that only heat the top of the toes; they are great for more aerobic activity. The 5V version is much better for keeping my Reynaud's Syndrome toes comfortable when standing in cold water for hours. I recommend them.

Warmth To Last Through Your Adventures!
You can't beat wool material for warmth, wicking, durability, and odor reduction. Add in the heating elements and this is a top pick for my winter cycling adventures via fat bikes on snow trails!

Don't Overthink It: You Need These.
Look, I get it: this might be the most you'll ever spend on socks. But I promise, promise, promise these are worth it. I actually felt like they ended up saving us money, in the long-run. Let me explain - My boyfriend and I were gifted these socks for camping, so I brought them with us on a recent tent-camping trip, but on the first night, Friday, I accidentally left them in the car overnight. All night I was chilly, tossing and turning. My boyfriend got similar sleep. Our reservation was for two nights, but when we woke up on Saturday morning, we had to have a serious discussion: it was supposed to get even colder Saturday night. Did we think we had it in us to stay another night, knowing how poorly we'd slept the night before? Within minutes of remembering that I'd packed our heated socks, we made the call to stay the second night. We felt more confident that we would sleep better our second night, and that allowed us to fully enjoy and be present for our Saturday. Instead of turning around early, as we'd contemplated, we had a whole day to spend walking on the beach, going out to a nice dinner, etc. When night time came, we put on our socks but did not turn them on right away - they are so thick and warm and cozy, we actually didn't initially need the battery power! Around 1am though, as the night got colder and the wind picked up, we turned our socks on to the lowest setting and IMMEDIATELY drifted back to sleep. It was a total change from the night before. We weren't shivering or distracted and actually got a good night's sleep - sleeping on the ground, in November! We even slept in! When we woke up and it was time to pack up, our socks *still* hadn't lost their charge so we figured we'd push our luck and turned the heat up. Even on the higher setting, they stayed powered-up all through our tent disassembly and the packing of the car, which made things feel INFINITELY more comfortable and easier. Mine never ended up dying at all! I just turned them off once we got back into the car. So, what do I mean by these might ultimately save you money? Our camping reservation for the second night was already paid for. If we'd given up and gone home early, we'd have lost that money - and that fun. Think of all of the outdoor occasions that you skip or cut short, even if you were looking forward to them or spent good money on them, because it's just not practical to be that cold. Sports, concerts, outdoors adventures - these things don't have to stop or become miserable just because it's chilly. Wouldn't you rather enjoy the things you're already paying for/attending? Yes, it's an investment. But just do it. I just made a joke to my boyfriend as he was walking by about how long this review was, and he reminded me of one of our most important observations! My boyfriend didn't even believe he'd turned his on because the heat so even, comfortable and cozy. It totally did not feel like you just had a heating pad against your foot or something. He thought his socks were OFF and just wildly cozy - he didn't even realize that's what they feel like when they are on. That's how even, breathable and comfortable the heat they provide is. Truly magical. I have a feeling our future campaign trips are going to include several ActionHeat products...

Bad Fit
XXL was on clearance. That is Size 12.5+. I should be wearing a L/XL fit with my size 11. I figured I could wear them over a light pair of socks. The XXL by themselves are a real struggle to get on. Extremely tight. I am not big boned or muscular. I don't know how I could fit into a pair that is supposed to be my size.

Cold Feet
They heat up very nice, fit very snug, almost like a compression sock. Wire runs under foot takes a bit of getting used to. These are great if your sitting still and need to keep warm, not great for hiking around.
