Wonderful Product, But...

I am 4'11" and the flared hip design is really too large and uncomfortable as are the x-large armholes... I will be returning it under the "Free Return" plan I had purchased. Instead I have just ordered a different item, the ActionHeat battery-Heated Sweater Vest in size Large that should fit much better. I will need to shorten the sleeves once I receive this.

Breast Cancer Survivor

Following mastectomy + reconstruction, I experience significant pain in the winter. Most heated vests don't heat this far up the chest. And honestly, I don't want my waist or abdomen heated. This vest has been a huge comfort. I also like the exterior shell material. Not a fan of fleece only shells. Pockets are a nice size and there is a small webbed pocket (inside of the waist pocket) that holds the battery. Never have to worry about accidentally dropping my battery.

Warm Vest Perfect For Hockey Moms

My husband bought this gear for me. It does keep me very warm throughout hockey games. I will say that I was surprised that the battery died before the end of the game. I would buy a backup battery and keep it close. I like that it’s thin enough to fit under my coat. I can wear it in the fall over a sweatshirt or long sleeved shirt. Overall a great purchase that keeps me nice and cozy warm.

Nicely Tailored Vest

It's hard to find a heated vest for a petite lady that doesn't look like a fluffer jacket. This model in XS fits great and has a tailored look. Nice green color. The battery life is 4-5 hours, so pretty short. Warms the upper back and chest but not the lower back. Well made and stylish.

Heat Broke After Short Amount Of Time

Heat stopped working after about ten wears. Dick's would not take it back because it was past 90 days. (I brought it back in early April). This was bought as a Christmas present in early December, so 30 of those 90 days it was in a box. Dick's advised me to contact ActionHeat who didn't stand by their product either and explained it was out of the 90 day warranty. Very disapointed that this expensive vest does not work better, and the people who sell it and make it don't care.

Great To Wear, But Wish The Battery Lasted Longer.

I like the vest a lot. It fits true to size, and is comfortable. It’s not too bulky, so you can easily wear it under a hoodie or heavy winter coat. I think it looks nice when wearing it. It’s easy to operate, and best of all when it’s turned on the low or medium settings feels wonderful. The one complaint I have is that the battery is very short lived. One reason I bought it is to wear to cold weather football games (I live in Green Bay, WI). The battery, set on medium, wouldn’t last through the entire game and the walk back to the car. I don’t know if that’s normal, or if I just got an off battery. It takes quite awhile to recharge.

The women’s heated soft shell vest works great! My wife is able to stay warm for several hours when the vest is on low. The three different heat levels allows you to adjust to the weather conditions. What she likes most about the vest is she can still wear her regular jacket it over it and feel comfortable. The only draw back is she wishes there were a couple of more heat panels lower on the vest.
