Hiking pants that are sturdy enough to last through long treks, yet fashionable enough to wear day-to-day. The straight leg suits a wide range of body types while the abrasion resistance suits a wide range of situations.

Really great pants, thicker weight canvas, sturdy and well sewn. And size Small is absolutely perfect fit for me, including length! I’m 5’4”, 135 lbs, 36” hips, 29” waist. I bought the olive and camel colors, but returned the black since the color looks more worn, like a graphite gray instead of true black. First time trying this brand, and love these so much I’m looking at the other clothes they make.

I was looking for a comfy pair of casual pants, and these fit the bill. I love the drawstring waist. I only wish they came up slightly higher in the back. Otherwise, they're perfect.

These are a great cotton pant at a great price I would say run on the shorter side because I am 5'2" and the length is good maybe just slightly long but I have a hard time finding pants that I don't have to alter

These felt too tight for hiking pants. Heavy material so great for winter but too warm for summer hikes

These are my go to pant these days. They are great for errands, chilling, and work. Very comfortable with the drawstring waist. Not too baggy not too tight. Nice material, doesn’t wrinkle. Easy pants.

Overall these are great pants. They are comfortable, easy to move around, bend over, etc. in. I've worn them for tasks like working outside digging and picking up potatoes as well as cleaning, painting, etc. in a room. The comfort can't be matched! I could wear them all day. I like the mid-weight material and the ability to cinch at both the waist and the ankles. My only complaint is that, for pants with elastic and a drawstring at the waist, they feel a little snug trying to pull up over my hips/bottom. It's like the proportions are off because there's plenty of room everywhere, but I would expect an easier slide on. Other than that they're great. I've washed and worn a number of times. They wash up well and seem like they're going to last. I liked them so much I bought a second pair after I had a chance to try them :)

Bought a size small but it was too big. Not sure if this style is meant to be very loose, but I had to return. Not very flattering at all. The pants themselves seemed to be comfortable so I wished they would have fit.

I bought a pair of these in off-white last year and absolutely love them. So I thought, I’m going to buy them in every color: black, sage and tan. What I bought was what looked like the original, but the fabric is thinner and itchy. Such a disappointment.

I love these pants! The quality is amazing and the fit is great. I have washed them a number of time and they look great. I love the ties at the bottom to make them tighter around my ankles. These pants are great for hiking!

Found these pants on Black Friday at the Dicks store in Strongsville, Ohio. I had never heard of the brand Alpine Design but loved the look and feel of them but didn't have them in my size. Ordered online and I am currently wearing them to teach physical education classes. What a comfortable alternative to leggings or sweatpants. I will be wearing these often! Plus, the draw string on the pant allows you to tighten or loosen depending on the holidays :)

I am 5’6 and 130 lbs, 37 inch hips. The medium fit but I sized down to a small, at first it felt snug pulling over my butt but I’m glad I sized down bc these bag out to a size larger after wear. And tney don’t shrink after drying so now tney look like a rumpled paper bag tied to my hips to stay up. Seriously not quality pant for the price. I’m editing my past review but it’s not allowing me to erase anything from before. I’d buy these for half the price due to the stretching. Not necessarily a bad thing but they aren’t slim or form sitting at all. I haven’t washed yet and I’m sure they will shrink some. Def size down. Try on in store . Good length. Drawstring at top and on legs which is weird to me. Tney kind of slide down the butt after tney stretch so don’t wear a short top. Just okay for the price

Good hiking pants and decent price. They run a little big in the legs. However they're very comfortable and hold their shape

Nice material, the bottom has draw strings which is a bonus.
