Rusted

I purchased this item online. When I opened the package all items were correctly packaged in the plastic. However, the curl bar was rusted at one end. I returned it with no issues at the Dick’s in Wayne.

Good Price, Doesn’t Work With Olympic Weights

We bought the fitness gear 300lb weight set at the store and bought this to go with it. It would have been a good price, except the weight set we bought was “Olympic” and this was not so the weights were too large for the bar and we had to return it.

I'm sure the quality is fine, but I have Olympic plates - and need a standard 2" bars. Just know what you're ordering.

Just To Help You Know What You Are Buying.........

There are different types of Curl Bars. Some are solid steel, which ultimately add to the weight that you are lifting. Other bars, are hollow, for the purpose of making them lighter, but the drawback is that they are not as strong. Next, companies say "Standard" or "Olympic". Be careful here. True Olympic bars are 2 inches thick and solid. Standard, could range, depending on the company, but they are usually 1 inch thick and can be both hollow or solid. Just because it may say "with Olympic style collars" doesn't mean the bar is Olympic in the sense of solid AND 2 inches thick. For beginners, you may not want a solid bar. Or if you have cancer or another illness and you are trying to get back to lifting, then a hollow bar would probably serve you better. Lastly, if you are just starting but expect to make gains quickly, then opt for a solid stronger bar that will not limit the amount of weight it can hold.
