Bought these to go Hiking, needed then to be comfortable and be waterproof. Walked several miles, and were very comfortable.

I’ve had a pair of these 520s for more than 10 years absolutely love them still comfortable to the day. Thought it would be worth getting a new pair to last me another 10 years unfortunately I’m back wearing the old pair the new pair of 520s didn’t last six months Before the soul came completely off haven’t even got a chance to take them on a trail still breaking in so I’m back to wearing the old pair. I don’t think it’s expensive for the quality of the boat of the 520s that I’ve been wearing for 10 years, but what do I do with a brand new pair Seven months old that just fall apart. Have the materials changed? Or is it a quality control issue? I don’t know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great boot, great prices, great communication. This is my 4th pair of tps 520 gv Asolo boots. I wear these boots everyday. They are comfortable, light and waterproof. What's not to love?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided I’d splurge and bought a pair of Asolo TPS 520 GV boots. Holy crap! Why have I not done this already?! Hands down, the best boots I’ve ever owned. Super comfortable. Solid leather construction with a TON of ankle support. Just make sure you order 1 size larger than you normally wear. Trust me, you get what you pay for and then some. Can’t go wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has worn this particular Asolo style for over 25 years. They are still made with same quality materials and workmanship today. They last and last, look great and have a consistent fit. They're pricey, but so worth it.

The boots are very comfortable and supportive and provide great protection from roots and sharp rocks one encounters on rugged terrain and trails.

Have been wearing Asolo since the early 80's, and have used them to trek through 47 US National Parks. They always outlast even my high expectations. Sadly this is not the case for my TPS 520's. Like many others, the soles are disintegrating and are totally unusable. I contact Asolo (US and Italy), and they would not help me because they are not 5 years or younger. The US rep even stated that they used a compound that was prone to this issue. Sad that they would replace soles on a boot that was owned for 5 years, but six, can't get you off the phone quick enough. Admit to a problem but refuse to own it. No idea what brand will replace these, but I will NEVER wear Asolo again. Would rate them zero stars if possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing these Asolo boots for 25+ years. Although there have been a few subtle design changes over the years, not much has really changed. The quality construction, materials, durability and comfort have never left me wanting something more in a boot. As long as they keep making them like this, Asolo has a lifelong customer in me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these boots every day have tried other boots and keep coming back to asolo 520’s. This is at least the 6th pair I have owned.I wore these boots when I was working as a a commercial carpenter and now where them around the farm and out working bird dogs

Boots are 12 months old and the soles separated. It's not the glue it's the foam tearing between the sole and upper. Foam selection is not strong enough for the application. Glue is useless because the foam just separates again. In the garbage now, waste of lots of money and time spent trying to repair a defective product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My third pair of these boots. Each have lasted ~10yr, my fathers lasted 15yrs! Best boots for support and comfort on back backing treks. Have used as daily work boots as well. They do weigh on the heavier side so may not be the best for only day hikers and take a bit to break in, but even with that these are the best boots I've ever had.

Three miles into my 5 mile hike the soles fell off of both boots. Clearly this has happened to other purchasers as well. These boots are not worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned many pairs of these 520s. The only boot for work and play that earns its keep. Very comfortable and supportive. As soon as internal boot support structure fades, I toss them. These last longer than all tried before, and I am a boot destroyer. Boots look good, soles hold, feet stay dry, until their end in about 18 months. When ones feet complain from long day at work, which all are. New pair time and happy feet.

Great boots. I'm on at least my 3rd pair of these. The first two pairs were super comfy out of the box. On a backpacking trip, out of the box, straight up the trail with a 60# plus pack. No blisters, zero. Highly recommend if they vit your feet. My feet run a bit wide but these work great for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best darn boots I’ve ever owned. Comfortable the very first time on! Waterproof! Superior to water resistant! Snug fit around the ankles. Excellent leather- won’t scuff or abrade! Strong laces! Great tread and stable foundation on bottom for hiking. Wide toe box and sharp looking too!
