These gloves are great for ski gloves in piste or off piste. Warm, removable liners gauntlet cuff, full grain leather where it counts. Durable to last season after season working as a ski instructor. Used these in high wind sub zero temps as well as deep powder. Top notches for these guide gloves. (They are useable in spring skiing but maybe bit warm for you; best suited for cold midwinter icey days)

I can’t remember how long ago I bought my first pair (maybe from the old CAMPMOR catalog?). They lasted longer than any pair of gloves I’ve ever had, and were the perfect glove for surviving harsh winters. The new pair I just bought appear to be the same quality but are just a little tight compared to the others. A little loose is almost always better than a little tight. The different insert linings might be the reason they are snug. I save the old linings just in case.

Purchased these for my upcoming expedition to Everest and can't wait to put these gloves to the ultimate test. I have worn these gloves on three distinct Winter 14ers in Colorado and they performed incredibly well, providing both warmth and the dexterity required to manipulate my safety equipment up and down the mountain.

I’ve been searching for the ultimate glove for a long time. Finally found it!

I would like to give a 5 star review but I only have had them for over a week. One thing I've noticed is that the thumb is slightly oversized. I tried to find info regarding if the glives had received some kind of oil treatment but couldn't find anything.

Great fit right out of the box. These are my go-to pair for the Yukon outdoors.

Kept me warm skiing in subzero temperatures this winter. Work beautifully.

Great gloves, the blended wool keeps your hands warm. They are designed as an over the cuff glove, so putting the cuff over the glove can take extra effort.

Love these gloves! Quality build, warm and comfortable. As someone with a large amount of abduction with my thumb, I often find that I quickly wear gloves out between the index finger and thumb. These seem to accommodate the majority of my thumb's range of motion and are reinforced where I typically end up tearing gloves. I am hopeful that these will last me a decade or more.

I got these gloves a few days ago, just in time for a ski trip to Breckenridge (Colorado USA). I am happy to share that my fingers survived the cold snap that we had here. temperatures as low as -2 Fahrenheit (with wind chill) and my fingers were quite comfortable. it comes with a packet of wax which is great for making the gloves more resistant to water and more importantly, the wind. I recommend sizing up, as the sizing guide seems to run small and you'd want to leave an extra air-gap inside the glove fingers.

High quality. Very warm. Sized a bit small. I got a large, should have ordered XL. I would recommend to others.

I’ve had the guide gloves 3 different times over the course of the last 17 years. Always satisfied w the quality, waterproofing and warmth. I find that my hands do get cold (skiing) when temps drop below 20° though. They are rated for colder temps. When this happens I prefer mittens and have a pair of BD ones that do the trick. I’ve found that a pair will last a couple of ski seasons of 45 - 60+ days. I’ve applied the nix wax (always included) usually late in the first season or early in the second. I’ve noticed a couple of “build” changes over the years, for the better. Also, of note: even though the sizing chart recommends I get the medium, I’ve found I need a large. The medium is snug. I’ll sometimes also use a liner, which helps on colder days and the large facilitates that. Good solid gloves that I keep coming back to. Have tried a few different brands and find myself gravitating back to these. Good, well made and does the job.

Firstly, gloves are well made and fit well. That said, they do not hold up to the cold in South Dakota. I purchased based on high ratings to keep my hands warm when walking our dog. Temperatures are in single digits with wind chills below zero and my hands are stinging cold after a 30-40 minute walk. Very disappointed.

Thisis my second pair of guide gloves. They are the only gloves that keep my hands warm enough in Montana winters when I am feeding stock. Rugged, really warm, and flexible enough for doing ranching chores.

The glove is a quality product that fits great and appears will last for years. I myself have a personal issue in that my hands get cold easily and unfortunately for me this gloves do not keep them warm.
