~8 ski days in (most with ambient temps in the low teens and windchills below zero) and these gloves have been great. They take little while to break-in and I hope, long-term, their reputation for durability will prove true. So far, I would purchase them again if I had to do it over.

I bought these for this year's downhill ski season, and am very pleased with the quality of craftsmanship, and the excellent style and cut. They also allow good mobility in fingers and thumb, and work well with ski poles. They do not provide as much warmth as I was hoping on very cold days is my only complaint, but that's what mittens are for!

Outstanding gloves, very warm while still allowing for needed dexterity. Perhaps the best gloves I’ve ever owned.
These are the best fitting and warmest gloves I have ever owned. I use them in my role as a ski patroller and they perform very well in a variety of conditions.

Runs a bit small- I recommend sizing up -I’m normally a LG but went w a XL and am happy with the decision.

My hands get frigidly cold when skiing and these lived up to how warm people say they are. They fit a little small so definitely go up a size tho but other than that, they are amazing

Very warm, very durable. And if you get sweaty you can take the inserts out to dry quicker over night

Wore these to ski in 14 degree, active snow making conditions. No issues, stayed warm and dry. I used the wax leather treatment that came with the gloves ahead of the skiing. Very warm, nice tall cuff to keep the snow and ice out.

The cuffs are key! Easy to pull on and no snow in. Toasty

Haven’t taken these on any big trips yet, but so far they’ve been warm. The materials is really good.

I have searched high and low for gloves that withstand NW Minnesota winters, and I have found them with the Black Diamond Guide Gloves. I was a little skeptical with the higher price point, but they are sure worth every penny! The lining of the gloves are 50% wool and they do not feel scratchy by any means. NW Minnesota winters are often below zeros for days on end with a constant wind that is blowing. Never once, when snowmobiling, walking the dog or riding my fat tire bike have my hands got cold. They are quite versatile for lots of different activities. I would highly recommend these gloves, as they are the best gloves I have ever owned.

I purchased a pair of these for myself and my girlfriend, we were able to summit MT Washington in NH at a -30f degree windchill and our gloves were still toasty warm!

Very warm and comfortable. Seem durable, based on a week of skiing. The only problem is “reassembling” the two layers (e. g. , after drying the liner and the outer gloves separately): it’s really hard to line up the fingers of the interior glove with the outside, especially the pinky. It takes forever. We have four pairs of these gloves for the entire family, and this issue plagues all of them (ranging in size from XXS to S).

this is the third time i ordered these gloves in size large. this most recent pair seems smaller / tighter then the previous 2 pairs. i wish i had ordered XL instead of L.

I have been working outside in the NE USA for 40+ years and have a job that requires me to stand outside with limited mobility for hours at a time and these are the warmest gloves I have ever had. I have tried many gloves from many different manufactures and nothing comes close to the warmth that these gloves provide. if you spend a lot of time outdoors in very cold conditions these are the gloves for you
