Great quality for the price and to add to your home gym! Purchased this to work on basic barbell skills when I cant get to the gym. Seems solid so far.

Ordered this 7’ Olympic barbell for $200. Opened the package to find the barbell already had a bow to it and I haven’t even added weight to it yet and I’m scared to try. I recommend picking up any purchases like this in store.

Bought about a month ago, great addition to the gym. Great for straight bar work!

I purchased this bar because my bar was bent really bad it is a great bar for the price the only downfall on this bar is if you’re used to using the power rings for measuring your grip it is going to make your grip a bit wider other than that this bar is close to perfect
Bought this Body Solid to replace the lower end Fitness Gear bar that comes with the 300lb kit. Was thinking this would be a decent upgrade but so far less than impressed. +Collar attachment construction seems a lot better than the Fitness Gear +/- Knurling is a lot more aggressive, this may be good or bad depending on what you want. -"Chrome" on the collar started peeling on the first use, came off like aluminum foil, not sure if it was result from damage during shipment or just bad quality. -Collar is smooth rather than ridged like the fitness gear so clips are basically required now, could get away with not using them on the fitness gear and rarely had any plate slipping. Unsure if I will keep this bar or try to exchange but hopefully this helps.

This is a solid well balanced Olympic bar and the price is great, the only draw back is the grip is so good that it can cut into u're hands during use so wear gloves, other than that it's perfect for all kinds of lifts

Well I moved recently and could no longer pay a 40 a month gym membership and this bar is just perfect I actually like it better than the bars I were useing at the gym thought about buying a rogue bar for 200 glade I didn't this one is alot nicer than I expected I am not someone who benches more than 200 so I can't comment past that , but I'm sure you won't find a better quality bar at this price point. Perfect

I have had the bar about 1 yr. The inner collar has broken and will not stay on. I have never seen a bar break this way. I hope Dicks understands this is very poor and at least swaps it out for a replacement.

Its a 7 foot bar, well built, fits standard weights and collars, what more can I say.

Haven't used much yet. Bought to supplement my crossfit workouts if I can't get to the gym or I want to work on certain skills. Good feel so far. I'm a girl so I'm used to 35 lbs bars in crossfit and this is 45 lbs. I knew that when I ordered it. I dont plan to load it with more than 250 lbs if ever.It clanks around a bit BC there are no end caps. Its not Rogue but nice for home use. My husband uses it as well with no complaints. No complaints yet.

This bar has a wider grip than the bar in the fitness gear 300 lbs weight set. Packaging had issues when it arrived at my home however it was perfectly fine.

Great bar. The plate holders on each end of the bar are solid, instead of the two-piece screw-together type on cheaper bars. And the plate holders mount to the bar with good bearings that move smoothly during cleans. The bar weighs 45lbs with collars, but collars did not come with this bar. I've only had the bar for a few weeks, and the other two Olympic bars I've had I did not buy new. But so far I am happy with this bar and have no regrets. Oh, the bar did not arrive with end-caps on it to cover the assembly nuts, but those caps always seem to pop out during workouts anyway, so I didn't mind.

A 45# Olympic bar for under $100 (on sale, with coupon)? Seriously?I compared this bar with a Rogue bar - obviously, top-notch quality - but also over $300 - and it matches up very well. The Rogue bar might be appropriate for professionals, but this bar is perfect for someone who loads the bar with under 500#...and who does normal weightlifting/Crossfit work. There's no way I would spend $350 on a bar. No way.Buy this bar!
