My Favorite

These shorts are perfect for me. The waistband is flat— the scrunchy ones are unnecessarily itchy and bulky. The pockets are awesome. I’ll never buy shorts without pockets again, but that’s all bottoms. They’re not the material to wear out for lunch or a nicer event, but they’re fantastic for everyday use. I’m actively trying to find more! These do not need to be discontinued or reinvented.

Pockets Not Secure

I've noticed this year that a lot of items in the Calia line are a little smaller than they were in previous years (I am the same size), and these shorts are no different. They are slightly small and bunch up everywhere. The pockets are strong and big enough to hold a phone, but since they don't have any flaps or buttons/zippers to keep stuff in, I would be too worried about things falling out to use them.

Nice and comfortable, but looks boxy and runs a little big.

Comfortable Fit & Fabric

I bought the "Ardosia Slate" color (=fancy description for grayish navy) a week earlier. I loved the fit and feel. I then bought the same short in black and am also very happy with it. The cargo pockets are designed well - The pockets have a flap so that they are partially covered to prevent things from falling out but it is still easy to insert things into the pocket. The sale price made this a very reasonable choice for quality.
