Carhartt's Quality Has Gone Way Down

I've had this set of boots for about 5 months and the soles just came unglued. This is my second set of this style boot in about a year. Carharrt refunded me on my previous set because an eyelet came off on it after just a few months of owning them. I've used this style boot for the last few years and they used to last at least a year. Carharrt's quality has gone way down and that's a shame.

Love Them But Being Made Cheaper Now Days

Love these boots but have not even had them a year and already holes in where soul meets the leather and soaking my feet

So far so good. My husband keeps talking about how comfortable they are right out of the box. They are definitely somewhat waterproof ?I live up in northeast PA and my husband was out shoveling snow in them for a few hours the other day and he says his feet stayed completely dry.

Excellent Boots

Been using these boots for years. They are tough and will get you thru your work day with protection and comfort. Excellent purchase every time.

Looks And Protection

They fit great and the protective toe guard avoids scuffing on the leather. Add this to the composite toe and you have an excellent boot for protection and looks.

Comfortable right out of the box, toe shape is a bit too round for my taste but overall a very good boot.

Poorly Made

This boot is not worth the money. Any stress put on it while digging it comes apart. It appears to be glued and not sewn.

Best Work Boots

Very good shoes, this is my 7th pair for the last 10 years. I wear it daily for work.

Good boot, but the sole separates after 1 to 1.5 years.

Troubling

While I've NEVER had any issues with previous purchases, the sole separated from the shoe on the 4th day my son wore these boots. Maybe a one off situation, but still disappointed. Hopefully my next purchase will hold up much better.

Didnt Even Last 1 Year

purchase 11/20/2023 -the toe seal is broken and lifting and peeling back. these boots did not last even 1 year.

Has become my favorite work boot, very comfortable to wear 16 hours a day if required. Composite toes are great when passing through metal detector security gates.

No Breaking Them In...great Out Of The Box!

I bought these for working in the brewery, where it is always wet and broken glass. These boots are slippery on wet floors, I'm not sure since it's because they are brand new but I have to watch my step. I wish they had a little more grip to them. Also I replaced the tiny round laces with a bigger waxed lace, so much easier to tie. But as for the fit and comfort...these have been the best safety boot I ever bought. I wore them 12hours on the first day and my feet did not hurt when I got home. I bought a half size bigger and the wide for my wool socks. My Timberland pro boots made my big toe and little toes burn like fire by the end of the day, not these. These are my new go to boots for work. Just need to add a little more traction and different laces and these would be 5 stars or more. The NO breaking in period is the best part for me. I hate sore feet at the end of the day.
