They keep my legs warm but are way too short to be considered having a size L leg on them. The cuffs stop around mid calf on me and the back keeps falling under my pants and it can get annoying after awhile. Every time I bend over I can feel them slipping down. When I go to pull them back up, I have to struggle to find the top of the thermals to pull them up because they don't come above my pants. I have been a carhartt fan for a while because they hold up for me being a welder, but I am not a fan of these thermals

I bought 2 for work since I'm outside mostly. Got both in size large, even went up a size and they fit terrible, super short on the front and back side. Making it super uncomfortable to wear, felt like I had super low rise leggings.

These thermals are nice and warm and the fit is perfect.

Very disappointed. The fit is awful and the material felt cheap. There is no back rise and the fit seem way off

I don't like reviews that say "love these" or some such, since it tells me very little. So...I am 5'2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

I'm giving this three stars for fabric quality and stitching quality. However this is the strangest fit I've ever encountered. I'm only 5'4" and the rise is so short on these it makes them unwearable. I sure wouldn't try squatting or sitting in them. The only woman who could wear them would need to have long legs with no length in her hips at all. I'm returning them.

I’m giving them 3 stars because they are extremely short and had to return. Super soft and comfortable. I’m 5’6 120 lbs, they fit perfect except the length (I ordered a small).

"Heavyweight" is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see-through. On their own, they don't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I'm usually a 6-8 in pant size.

Nice base layer to use under another layer if you're planning to use these for when you're less active. Also extremely short. I'm 5'6" and these were extreme high-waters.

Sigh... Another Carhart item that doesn't offer tall inseam. I'd like to order this, except it's too short! I'm a size XS and the stated inseam is 28", which is good for a short lady. I don't understand why the inseam varies according to SIZE. Please carhart, just because I'm XS in size, does not equate to "must mean short legs". Please offer a tall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the way they hug my buns and keep them warm. Great material and quality, fit is correct and would recommend these for your buns too, especially in Alaska.

If in doubt, SIZE UP! I am 5’8, 160 lbs. Usually between a 6-8. I purchased a “large” in these (size 12) and it fit! A bit loose in the waist, but shrunk after washing. I can’t imagine what a medium would look like on me. For reference, I wear these while working at my barn or hiking, in temps from 0-20 degrees. I was shoveling snow tonight wearing these under jeans while it was 12 degrees, and was almost TOO warm with all of the movement. Highly recommend, sizing is just off. I also wish these were high waisted.

These “heavy” weight thermals are literally see through and no more effective than a thin polyester shirt and leggings. The men’s version of Hanes polywool is medium weight and 4x thicker than this heavy weight knock off.

I wear them with the leggings and they keep me warm outside
MichaelG
I expected heavyweight to be thicker than what I got.
