Love the boots! The stretchy material helps with flexibility. These only took a brief break in period before I wore them around in Alaska. Might love these more than my Chaco Chelsea’s.

They took a few days to break in. At first they did hurt my heel. They also had some crazy arch support. After wearing them for about a month I find them extremely comfortable and durable. So far, I have just worn them as more of a casual shoe but I wouldn’t mind hiking a few miles in them. Good shoe for the price.

Surprised by them as they were on sale, nice fit with a wider foot and not getting the wide version. Nice breathing with mesh flex for a leather boot. Only had them one day but very grippy and lots of stability from heel. I can see why one review didn't like heel support, so far it's improved my posture/stance. Arch feels great. I usually wear a 10.5 w and went with 11. They look sharp too

These boots look great and fit true to size. They seem durable and robust. The main issue that I'm having is the heel cup feels terrible on my heel. I nearly blistered in just a few hours of wearing these to work. I'm going to try moleskin to attempt salvaging these because I like everything else.

My husband loves these. The fit and support are great

My first pair of Chaco's boots - The package arrived on time - purchased 1/2 size up men's fields lace boot . In hand inspection of the boots coloring and construction are excellent. The dark brown leather is blemish free. The feeling of fit wearing thick wool socks is comfortable, no odd pressure points along the upper or side portion of the shoes. Man made foam insert foot bed sits on top of the compressed paper or leather mid sole. The glued on "Chaco" rubber sole is grippy and has deep treads for a secure wet stance in the rain. Very comfortable around the calf area because of the elastic cut out design, provides easy flex while walking. Overall a good looking boot.

Great boots but with one weak spot. I was gently pulling on the right boot Tuesday morning and the pull-loop at the heel let go. My pinky was inserted into the loop and I wasn’t pulling very hard at all. Surprised and disappointed. The left shoe is fine.

Wasn’t really why they replaced this with the frontier. It’s not as comfortable. Definitely not my type.

Sturdy boots, but not comfortable and bad traction in cold

If you have even slightly wide feet steer clear. Proven year after year that chacos will never make shoes wide enough in any fashion (even going a size up didn't help). They make wide sandals but can't handle it with a shoe.

I got these boots as a birthday gift a few months ago. At first, they were a little tight, but once I got them broke in - I'll be buying these again. I was having issues with my back and had been going to a chiropractor. After I started wearing these boots on a daily basis, No back pain. These boots are extremely comfortable and lightweight. I would absolutely recommend these boots!

My spouse has been looking for this kind of boot for a while now but hasn't been thrilled about other options. He likes these so much he said he doesn't want to take them off. Very happy with the comfort and quality!

These are a handsome pair of boots with really good traction. My main issue is the dramatic arch support, which I guess is common across Chaco products. They are starting to break-in, but I wish there was an option for a more neutral insole.

Good fit and they broke-in quickly. I suspect these will be my go-to boots from now on. Probably inadequate for a multi-day backpack trip but more than plenty for all the other stomping-around I do outdoors. Not quite as good of an arch support as my Chaco sandals but good enough that I don't need to wear my orthotics. I bought a second pair to 'mothball' for later.

The boots are not as comfortable as my sandals or chukka boots. But are more firm on the sole area. So I expect a break in period unlike the other styles I have wore.
