    It's A Boot

    All around, the sole of the boots are comfortable as I would expect from chacos. The areas around the toes are tight and taking longer to break in then expected and use to. I am having to wrap my pinky toes to stop blisters. The tounge of the shoe keeps folding under because the stretch material keeps pulling the edge under on the right boot. I typically have to take the boot off and realign it one to two times a day. I am hoping these issues work themselves out once they break in.

    Love these boots! I have them in two colors. I have plantar fasciitis and they help and support very well. They are easy to walk in. I'm in elementary school teacher and they work really well dressed up or down for work.

    Love This Boot

    Traipsed through feet of snow for most of a day in these boots, and feet were still dry. Initially these were uncomfortable, but the inserts are removable. Once I changed to my own inserts, they are super comfortable and I've gotten rid of all my poorer quality boots. Typically I wear a 9-10 in women's sizing. I ordered a 9.5 and they fit well with med to bulky socks. Don't fit as well with thin socks.

    Loving My New Boots

    Purchased the fields lace boots over a month ago. Wore them around the house to break them in but didn't have as bad a break in period as others mentioned. Runs a little big. I measure a size 9 and the size 9 fits well with enough room for thicker socks. Sole seems sturdy and I like the support. Excited to have new waterproof boots that actually look cute!

    These actually have arch support almost comparable to the sandals! I wish the heel was a little bit lower so they were more flat, but it does make them cuter.

    I got these boots a little over a year ago. And I LOVE them. They are very comfy. I use them to work in, I worked in a barn all summer and in the outdoors. They are truly waterproof. I have gone through mud, rain, snow, and even pretty shallow streams and my feet have stayed dried. I have dressed them up and of course dressed them down. Cleaning and re-oiling them has been pretty easy and has definitely made them even better! The only downside I have to them is I have wider feet and the spots where my feet are bigger then the shoe are starting to wear down. I am also having the issue of my bottom sole starting to come off. I would love to be able to send them in to get the sole repaired but it’s not an option currently. And my laces ends fell off shortly after getting them, but that’s an easy fix on my end. But overall I love the boots. And when it comes time to retire them, I will definitely look into buying another pair.

    Cheaply Made/ Defective

    Update.... After wearing for a week (wearing every other day) the right heel collapsed. It feels like whatever the sole of the leather boot portion is made of, sunk. The rubber heel itself hasn't changed in appearance, but there is a definite defect. I'm disappointed to have spent a significant amount on what I believed to be a high quality product, only to have this experience.
