[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh, my! Best pants ever. I am an Oregonian living in LA. I am always hot. Not in these pants. And yet... on a rainy vacation in northern Oregon? Kept me warm. Thin, light, at least 3-season-wearable. Ankle draw cords can be left open with the toggle nicely tucked. I ordered multiple pairs. I am XL. I ordered both XL and XXL as I have gained weight. XL fit just fine. XXL waaay roomy. I am 5'9".

What Pants? Perfect In Almost Every Way!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these on sale and am back for the rest of the colors. It’s like wearing no pants but while wearing pants for sun and creep protection! I won’t call them fashionable but I have no fashion sense so I LOVE THEM. They are incredibly lightweight, very comfortable and true to size (if you stick to the size chart, which a negative reviewer did not do). I’m in an XXL and these don’t cut off my circulation while I’m sitting. The adjustable waist and relaxed fit means I can tie the pants at my natural waist, over my fat belly, and have no discomfort. It is a little challenging to cinch because of the material and the holes for the cord being a big bunch of thread sewn around the hole rather than a plastic or metal grommet, but it doesn’t seem too problematic. I don’t think I’ll pair it with a hiking pack too often but I will be living in these the rest of the summer! I am a no-purse gal, favoring my pockets. I was apprehensive about how much the pockets can hold because of the weight of the fabric, but they appear to swallow up even heavier items like a phone without dragging the waist down. With as thin of material as this is, keys should be handled with care in pockets (they’ll stab either you or the pants) and there is no exterior loop for a carabiner. 1 star came off because: - cinch at waist is not smooth - where do I put my keys? - not sure about durability of this super light fabric If it lives up to my hard wear and tear this summer I’ll update!

Lightweight, Amazing Fabric, Perfect For Spring/summer
I love these lightweight cargo pants from Columbia! The fit feels great and very flattering - I am 5'5"/135, athletic build, and bought a small. Fabric has good stretch and there is adjustability in waist and hem.
