Soft Fabric, Warm And Waterproof Plus Roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first about the sizing because I measured at the low/mid end of the 3xl range so I was afraid it might be too large. My previous Columbia jackets have run small so I ordered the 3xl. I will say the cut of the jacket is roomy but so far I have worn it with a down puffer jacket underneath and a sweatshirt underneath and I’m very happy with the fit. Still have room to move my arms and not feel like the back will rip. The material is very soft as well and while there is some fabric sounds when moving I don’t find that this is a “crunchy” jacket. I would absolutely order this jacket again!!

Great Jacket, Poorly Made Zipper

I really like this jacket but my one issue is with the zipper! It seems to be low quality. About a month or two after purchasing, it started splitting from the bottom. I am able to zip it back down to close them, but it is a little annoying and shouldn't be an issue given the cost of the jacket. Otherwise I enjoy it and wear it often.

Great If You Want To Look Like A Lumpy Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Hikebound™ Long Insulated Jacket and thought I’d love this as a non-insulated rain jacket. It ended up fitting tight on my stomach and made me look like a lumpy box, so I returned it. I really wish Columbia would make the Hikebound™ Long Jacket on their Canadian website available in the US too. :(

Good But Could Be Better

Love the sage green color, the pockets and hood coverage. But I’ve only worn it about 4x and the material is already pilly under the arms and along the wrist. What the world!? I hate pills, looks cheap and ratty. It may be waterproof, but rain does seep into the fabric. Not sure this could be with fit sent great length of time. This is the 2nd time I’ve been disappointed with a Columbia purchase. I will think more carefully before buying again in the future. Especially at $70 (what I paid) for a light rain jacket.
