Cracked Bat

Recently bought the bat for youth baseball. The bat has already cracked in 2 places with normal batting use.

Terrible

I bought this bat 2 months ago and my son just broke it in half. Too bad I didn’t take the time to read the reviews as I bought it because he hit well using another team members identical bat.

Don’t Do It

Would not recommend. Bought less than two months ago. Took a lot of time breaking it in as recommended (following guidance from bat experts) and my 7yo (wt 65lbs) broke the bat during batting practice. Not sure why there are so many defective bats that they haven’t discontinued this model.

Cracked After 2 Months / Normal Use By 3rd Grader

I bought this bat in May for my 3rd grader. Normal use, a few times a week. Always hit baseballs, not softballs or dumb stuff like metal poles. Noticed today, end of June a moderate crack and a severe crack in the barrel. The severe crack is two cracks forked where in the middle of the fork it’s chipped away. I am actually shocked.

This Bat Breaks Easily!

We bought this bat for our son that is playing 12U Rec baseball this Spring. He used it during batting practice off of coach pitching once a week, and used it in the games with kid pitching once a week. After having the bat less than a month, he hit a pitch in a game and cracked the bat all around just above the handle. We tried to see if Dick's would initiate an exchange since we had the bat for less than a month. We were responded to with a no, and we would need to go through Easton's warranty. That process has taken 4 weeks. We have made due with other bats to get through the rest of the season, but it has been pretty inconvenient. I would not recommend this bat for the cost of it compared to it's durability.

Love This Model!

Holds up over time. My son loves this model, started with a 26, then 28, now using a 30!

Worst Bat Ever

You are better off buying a 2x4 from Home depot than this bat.....It will have better pop and hurt your hands less. This bat has 0 pop, hurts the hands on every swing. Dicks will not take it back or help in the return in any way. Several others have reported this bat sucks (I do take some responsibility in not looking at reviews ahead of time). Dicks should pull this off the shelf or allow for returns. If I could give 0 stars or Negative Stars I would have. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Terrible Bat

I really wish they did returns. I can’t believe they allow this bat to be sold. Even a good solid hit is like the ball is dead, plus gives a terrible tinging on the most solid hits.

Terrible

I really wish there were knowledgeable employees working so they could help with a proper bat. This one tingled my son’s hands. Tried to return but no bat returns. Customer service was low.

Easton Speed

We have gotten few of these bats in the last few years . My son seems to like it no issues that I can think of .

Excellent Pop And Super Lightweight

Easton is a brand I trust. In my little league days, Easton was my go to brand. My 11-year old just wanted a lightweight bat and this one was recommended by the store employee. After getting some swings in I can say that it is a winner. Bat speed has improved and the ball really jumps off the bat.

Perfect Fit

Bat was great for my son. Love the light weight. Easy to get around

CSkwa

Broke multiple of them on swings during games. Should have been discontinued.
