[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vest and thought it would be sufficient for a winter standalone. It is more suitable for layering. Very thin and probably great for someone who only wants to use the vest in warmer weather or for layering.

Super Light And Packable Layer!

I LOVE this vest! It is extremely light, but very warm considering how thin it is. Packs perfectly into my backpack for an extra layer. Great fit - I am 5'4"., 125 lbs and wear a small in order to fit some layers underneath. I wear this under ski gear or spring, summer or fall with a layer or sweater underneath.

The Best For Multiple Seasons

This is so light and breathable, i can feel comfortable in this on cool spring and fall days. It also packs a solid punch as a mid-layer in colder months. The close to body fit allows me space to move, while fitting seamlessly in with a shell jacket. It has the technical specs for grand adventure, but I also wear this casually all the time.

Wasn't sure what "Storm" would be exactly, but it is pretty true to the picture. Very nice looking! I wear this vest nearly every day in the fall and winter. It is extremely light and packable. The fill is synthetic so you never have feathers popping out. The fit is slim but comfortable. I'm 5'5" 115lbs and wear an XS in this vest. I can easily fit a sweatshirt or flannel underneath.

Perfect Layering Piece

I bought this vest in early fall and used it on many hikes. It was perfect to layer over a sweatshirt or zip up, but I've also used it underneath my winter layers as well. It's small and packable, so it adds that extra layer of warmth, but it's not so bulky that you feel like you can only wear it on it's own.
