Good Mat And Very Cute!

Very cute! All-around good mat. Pretty sticky. Not too thin.

So Comfortable

I love this yoga mat. First the design caught my eye. Got it home. Its premium quality, non slip and it's so comfortable to use. Have had it for 3 months (purchased at a store) and it has held up great.

Slippery!!!

The grip on this mat is horrible. I could barely stay in downward dog without slipping. I have used cheaper mats with better grip.

My First Yoga Mat & I Love It!

I've been using this mat for a little over a week and I love it! I experienced a little bit of slippage during the first use or two but after a few wipe downs with a damp rag and continued use, I haven't really had any other problems. The print is beautiful and the thickness is nice also. I'm new to the practice and this is my first mat but I am very pleased with my purchase!

Very Cute But Too Slippery

I bought this mat around two weeks ago. The first time I used it, I was sliding during my entire practice and now have to bring a towel to every class. very disappointed in this because I fell in love with the pattern.

Dissapointed- Slippery

I have been using my mat for about 2 months now, 3-4 times a week. It's so slippery even with the tiniest bit of sweat. I should not need to use a towel with it in a basic class. The mat should be tacky and prevent my hands and feet from slipping. I am no longer taking a risk with this mat because I don't want to injur myself. I'll use the mats privided by my studio until I find a more suitable mat.

Nice Mat But As Others Have Said, Slippery

I got this mat just a couple weeks ago and am disappointed. Starting out in my routine its slippery. Just the little bit of sweat on the bottoms of my feet are enough for them to slide. Very annoying. I have wiped it down several times with just water and even cleaned the my feet. This has helped but 1/2 way through, I start sliding again. I will not use a towel. A towel should not be a requirement when using a mat. I have used different mats and they all worked fine without a towel.

Makes Me Happy Just Looking At It!

Got a new mat to re-energize my yoga practice and this one really shines! Makes me excited to get out of bed and do some sun salutations! The only disappointment was that some of the yellow had flaked off before even using it, but I think that's because of the deep pockets of cushion - the paint didn't absorb down all the way, or something like that. My previous yoga mat (also by Gaiam) was a 3mm and the tree design lasted for years. Here's hoping the design lasts as long as my last mat!
