I recently got this for Christmas from my husband and so far I love it, it’s soft, grippy and I love the design and I also love the rubbery scent, it’s a good mat so I recommend it!

The Smell

I bought this for class and its amazing. I love the design and texture and the fact that it has a good grip. BUT I cannot explain the smell. Maybe its typical, but this lingering rubbery smell just won't go away. I washed it and sanitized it and washed it again and this smell is awful. I can't stand it.

My Go-to Mat At Home

Overall, I love this mat and it's definitely my favorite of the two that I own. I like the thickness because it's supportive without taking away from the feeling of being grounded with the floor. The pattern is just beautiful, which is what drew my eye to begin with (I have the navy and green variant). It's also a pretty good material and reduces the amount of slipping I do (but doesn't necessarily eliminate it- my hands get super sweaty when I'm working out). I've noticed that the professional mats at the studio I go to are MUCH better at keeping me from slipping as they seem to be more textured and not as smooth, but who knows the price point on those...bottom line is, this is a great mat for the price.

Good Mat But Color Isn't That Vibrant

This mat functions well, but overall the color isn't nearly as vibrant as the photo online. If I had seen this in person at a store, I wouldn't have bought it. That said, it seems to work well, so not a total dud.

Can't Wait To Get More Of These!

I love this mat! Both sides are beautiful and comfortable. Can't wait to get different designs in the future.

I Would Not Buy This Mat Again

Was looking forward to my specual 2018 mat. I was totally disappointed when I unfolded the mat. The design on the pink side was smuggled. Not like the crisp and pretty like it should be. But, it is reversible so I'll use the other side.

Very Comfortable

I upgraded to a 6mm from a 3mm and it was the best thing I could’ve done! This is so much better on my knees. Gaiam is such a reliable brand so I know it’ll last a long time.

Cute And Useful

I like the fact that it is extra long perfect for some yoga moves.
