Poor Quality Outsole

The outsole of these boots a poor quality to be honest, that is all my complain

Comfortable And Nice Leather

I work on concrete floors in a manufacturing plant. These are comfortable, solid, and the leather is thick and feel like good quality. Would be cool if they made this style in black.

Beware

Steel toe not properly installed on the left boot digs into my foot. The right boot no problems with the steel toe.

Ch

Comfortable out of the box, clean looking and durable. Needed a boot I could be in the field and in the office with without having to change boots and these fit that role perfectly. Very little if any break in time required and my feet no longer hurt at the end of the day like my other brand boots would do to me. Georgia Boots from here on out for me. After you buy Georgia Boots, you’ll feel the same way.

Seems A Solid Boot

I'm at about one year in. I average some 5 miles a day, which puts me just over 1,000 miles on these boots. I feel like the insole has held up well, and only on particularly long days do my feet really get sore. The leather seems to hold up reasonably well, as they've only a few scars at the toe and a few scratches elsewhere. Soles haven't caused any problems, but I'm mostly on concrete. With my current mileage and the surfaces I typically come into contact with, tread is still looking pretty good and gripping reasonably well. As for problems, the stitching on the inside of the heels is a nightmare. In colder temp I'm fine if I double sock, but once it gets hot enough for my feet to sweat I always get irritation from the stitching! Following recommendations from friends and coworkers, I've tried different lacing patterns and adjusting the tightness of my tie...all to no real avail. So, I've been stuck with double socking year-round and putting up with the irritation in the summer. All in all, they are pretty solid boots. I can't say for certain if I'd buy em again due to the heel issues, maybe I should've run through a dozen or so pairs at the boot store. But, if the stitching feels like it could be problem. Just say pass.

Work Boots

Look great ,feel good while walking but seem to need a little padding up the back where your heel rubs but may just be my feet LOL trying to get them broken in .3ed pair .

Oil, Oil, Oil

Some boots feel comfortable right out of the box. Not these. Very stiff. But after oiling twice to nearly soaking each time with RedWing's All Natural Boot Oil, they loosened right up and feel much better. I also replaced the laces with quality Taslan laces for durability. I wear these boots welding all day on my shop's concrete floor. Still comfortable at day's end. I really like the non-skid sole. Regular wedge soles are very slippery on wet, but these grip well. I've only worn these 3 months. But I hope they'll last several years since I only wear them indoors and will keep them oiled.

Not So Great

I bought these last week. Wore them for two days and they were killing me on the heals and uder my ankles. Right were the water stitching meets the Tung. Maybe I should wear them a lil longer.but my first experience wasn't to pleasant. I'm going to order a different pair from a different store as back up.but so far I'm disappointed....

One And Only

8th pair now. Tried all the others to include Red Wing. Even gave up a 150$ work place boot voucher to buy my latest pair. Long Lasting Comfortable Boots. Well worth the money.

For Weekend Warriors Only

When I first got these boots they were great and super comfortable..... buuuuuut that doesn’t last long, at about 5 months they started to feel like you’re just walking on concrete. I do hvac so I’m constantly walking football field distances on roofs and working from ladders so if you’re actually someone who walks and stands all day Id go with something else.

hamish

I work in the construction industry have more georgia boots for 10 years Very well made and once they are broken after a couple of weeks they get more comfortable as time goes by

Not Bad

Been wearing them about a week and a half now, and the seem to be a decent boot but would like 2 things. 1 for the insole to be softer and heel to be little less stiff to aloud for a quicker break-in.

Look Great, Cushion Is Amazing

I was in the market for new boots. Heard through the grapevine that i should give this brand a chance. Got them as a gift and i am beyond ecstatic. The boots fit me well(run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

Could Not Get On Foot

So very difficult to get on with normal socks. Purchased a G6503 that readily slips on with boot socks.

Great Boot For The Price

3rd or 4th year wearing these. Sturdy boots, haven’t had a pair come apart on me yet. Granted i buy a new pair every spring. Holds up great for asphalt paving and concrete work.
