Too Narrow Across The Footbed

This was my 5th pair of Keen shoes, and for once, I was let down. These were a gift so I had no control over what was ordered so I gave them the shoe size I normally wear in Keen shoes. These are too narrow in comparison to the Newport H2, which also have the Original Fit. I have "wide" feet and the H2 fit me perfectly. So my recommendation would be to order up a size if you have a fuller foot. My foot is less "wide" than it is chubby, but there doesn't seem to be Plus Size shoes. I will say that these are a well, long wearing shoe. In that aspect, I really love them.

Favorite Hiking Shoe

Still love this shoe. And I would choose stability over cushioning but it would be nice if there was just a little more in the foot pad

Great Price But ….

Apparently the shoes I ordered were a previous return due to a defect. They arrived in a box without any tags. I noticed the defect when I was tying the laces. I’m not going to return them because I really like them and the price was right. But note to the retailer … check your returns before you resell them.

A Shoe That I Have

A shoe that I have worn many years. I buy it and walk . There is no need to break it in

Almost Perfect!

I love the "traditional" width (i.e. plenty of room for my toes to splay a bit). Plenty of support as well as quite comfortable. All around my favorite trail shoe. One complaint: this is my fourth pair and my last two pairs got cracks in the "waterproof" part after getting wet just once. No, not drenched, just lightly rained on. When they dried, they cracked. So, they were kinda useless for waterproof any more. Still a really good show though! Thus, why I just purchased again.

I Could Not Be Happier With Them

First of all, I'm a year-round sandal person, and I only grudgingly bought full shoes. These are wonderful! The tongue doesn't mash my foot and they're comfortable for distance walking. Last weekend I dug my neighbor's car out of a snowbank and my feet stayed warm and dry. I could not be happier with these shoes.

Excellent Quality

They fit perfectly. Well made. Looking forward to doing some hiking .

Wanted To Like These But…

I loved how these looked online and was excited that they were waterproof. However, when they arrived, the left shoe seemed narrower in the toe box than the right. My big toe rubbed against the inside of the shoe and it hurt. I returned them and received my refund in a timely manner. Overall the shoes were not very comfortable. There was not enough cushioning and they seemed a little stiff. I have other keen shoes I’ve purchased in stores and like them so it was a disappointment these didn’t work out.

Perfect For Hiking And Barn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a fused lumbar and both hips have been replaced. These shoes are the perfect fit for me for some hiking and I wear them around the barn and the horses as they are waterproof! Love them. I do have to purchase an insert to add a bit more cushion but love these!

Meh.

Not out of the box comfortable like my last pair. They are stiff and also seem to run larger. Plenty of grip for all elements of the trail.

Too Big

I have 6 different pair of Keens, boots and shoes, all size 10. These are just overall way too big!

Trusted Targhee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A reliably comfortable hiking shoe, or simply taking a relaxing walk

Very Comfortable

This is my 3rd pair of Keen shoes. I’m glad that I made this purchase and love that they’re made in America. They are super comfortable. I’m on my feet for 12 hours a day and my feet feel find after a hard day’s work.

Great Shoes! Wrong Size!

I bought 2 pairs of keens to replace my keens that are now oh my goodness so old and too embarrassed to say. However, I bought them a size 8 and they were way bigger than my foot. I think I have to go in and get resized. I donated the shoes. Because they're great shoes. Someone will love them just as much as I do and they'll last a long time.

Not My Fav

I have worn out 2 pairs of Keen Targhee hikers in my lifetime. Targhee III are cut higher in the ankle than the old Targhee II. I will have to return them.
