Color did not match well to on screen color. But more important, I always order Merrell’s 1/2 size up and these were very narrow fit. Had to return.

At over 70 I don't trail run, but prefer the rubberized indoor-track at my local athletic club instead. I took a chance on these Merrell's just as knock-around shoes I liked the color of. Wow! What a comfortable shoe! I definitely prefer cushioned shoes in my old age and these more than fill the bill. Super comfortable and good looking at the same time (mine are white with orange highlights). Overall, I'm very pleasantly surprised with these shoes and wear them frequently!!

We went to Vegas and enjoyed wandering Las Vegas Blvd. Did a lot of walking! The shoes have a great arch lift to them and handled hiking at Hoover Dam as well!

Stylish, but not supportive for distance walking. The extra cushioning in the midsole comprises stability.

Great semi trail running shoe, love the fit and practicality. Firm enough not squishy but also provides cushioning and energy return

Comfortable, good on trail or road, and look to be really durable

I am a hospital security officer for a multi story hospital, spending 70% of my time walking on concrete I need a dependable shoe with good support, breathable & cushion. Over the years I’ve tried just about every brand out there & these ProMorph shoes are some of the best shoes I’ve found if not the best. At the end of my shift my feet are not sweating or sore. Also im 6’1” & 290 lbs thank Merrell you hit it out of the park with these. Now if you could make a boot with this cushion sole that would be great

Simple, comfortable, stable. Fluid toe-off, and enough of a rocker to settle into a groove on the pavement. Cushion is on the firmer side, but comfortably so, with classic Merrell arch support. Reasonably sized toebox. First road-to-trail shoe I've really enjoyed across a range of terrain, including moderately technical trails.

solid all-around option! the combination of deceptively responsive midsole foam and a noticeable rocker made picking up the tempo feel natural. the wider footprint and vibram sole added some nice stability and grip when hopping off-road. the pro morph is a great shoe for short to mid length daily runs and some tempo workouts. i found the foam to be a little unforgiving and the toe box a bit snug to give me the comfort to push for longer mileage. nonetheless, definitely one i’ll keep in the rotation!

Miles, miles, miles. These shoes are big fans of miles. With a comfortable stride and cushion, the run feel is great, encouraging you to keep moving. Significant but not overly aggressive tread makes the shoe perfect for all-rounding on any terrain. Only feeling out classed when you make it onto the most technical trails.

I have put about 15 miles on my ProMorphs so far - the “rolling” feel off the toes is quite smooth and lends itself to a speedy experience. For such a tall stack it is very well balanced. Shoes tend to be too narrow for my feet - but the ProMorph fit nicely!

First impressions putting these puppies on outta the box were a bit untraditional... but by no means bad. That went straight out the third story window, however, once we started rocking & rollin' down the road. Now, I'm the vetran road runner who still wears a Timex Ironman, and baby, was I impressed with how these puppies encouraged a mid-foot strike without being overbearing about it. But what really made me fall in love, like the movie Before Sunrise, was how well these babies rolled off the forefoot. Feather in the cap to the fine folks at Merrell who hopped on this contemporary running shoe trend - I'm here for it. All in all, this trainer is a pleasantly enjoyable ride. The midsole material is not too spongy but pleasantly bouncy. We love to see the Vibram rubber on the sole with a tread pattern ready to make out with any terrain. Circling back to the title of this review, the ProMorph's exceeded expectations on all accounts.
