I swing a number of wood bats, given the popularity of the LS RA13 Wood Composite I wanted to try out the Mizuno Maple CRBN as it is half the price of the LS. First lets talk about the construction, the barrel is not manufactured from a single maple billet like any other wood bat would (exception being bamboo). Nope, its made of of maple pieces or scraps and laminated together (see the attached picture). I'm not sure personally what this does for the durability of the bat as there are a number of reviews here that broke it. I refuse to swing this anymore due to another reason which I'll get to below. This bat as far as wood bats goes has one of the smallest sweet spots I've ever encountered. If you don't hit it perfectly, this bat WILL punish you. The last time I swung this bat was off a machine throwing 70mph and it came inside. I hit it right off the label, the shock to my hands was excruciating, Now as you can see in the picture I have a 1.1mm Lizard skin and I use batting gloves. My right hand (I'm a right handed hitter) started to swell up within a few minutes and my day was done. There is something about this bat that there is NO dampening in it, the bat is WAY too stiff, even when comparing against a Maple bat (I have a full maple LS and Mizuno, both are great bats). I won't swing this thing again. Lastly it comes with the MOST infuriating stickers I've ever had installed on a bat. First you have to fight to pull it off and it will come off in small pieces even using a razor blade. Next it leaves this residue that has to be "rubbed" off. Yeah, so if you're considering this over something like the RA13 Maple Carbon or a Demarini Woods, DO NOT BUY THIS. The LS RA13 will be my game bat, this will likely end up in the garbage full intact at some point.

If You Like Garbage Buy This Bat At Dicks
Total garbage. Purchase 7/26 and broke 8/12. Dicks didn't do diddly do. Customer service on follow visit to see what could be done as awful. What I think was the store manager was completely worthless and arrogant.

Great Bat
Highly durable for me , it would seem that for other individuals have half durability issues but from my experience its been my most durable bat- whipy and great swinging feel 90+ mph pitches without any issues owned mine for 8+ months

Really Pops
Bought this after using the LS pro 110 model for years. They discontinued the LS so had to find a replacement. After one season I really love this bat. It is well balanced. It is one of the best bats I have used lately.

Not A Good Bat
I just bought this bat today. I got through about 20-30 pitches during BP and it broke on me already. I will be taking this bat back. I do not recommend this bat. If I could give this bat zero stars I would.

Disappointed In The Mizuno Maple Composite
Bat looked worthy but broke on the first day of use. To add, getting a warranty in process has been a headache. Definitely DO NOT recommend this bat. In all honestly it's the worst bat purchased I've ever made.
