This is an excellent choice for players at levels 1 - 3. Its larger surface and thickness are ideal for the recreational player

Purchased and within a few weeks already breaking/falling apart.

Paddle is great, but it breaks down quick. I have had to replace it the more serious I got with pickleball. I play 3-4 times a week. And the more I play the more thr fiberglass breaks down.

I bought this pickleball paddle almost a month ago and it's been amazing!!! Thanks Dick's Sporting Goods for the best sports equipment 🎉

I bought this brand new in store and it looked perfectly fine till after a few weeks of playing. All of the spin technology on the racket wore off and the paneling on the top is all peeling off. Also around the whole racket are all dead spots. In order to get a good shot you have to hit it directly in the middle. 0/5 stars, would NOT recommend this product.

Bought this paddle a month and a half ago. About a 3 weeks into using it the top edge guard started coming detached from the paddle core. tried to find Monarch customer service/website or anything official. it doesnt exist. just found an old facebook page. not a good look. DONT BUY THIS BRAND

Buyer beware: this product carries no warranty. I've been sent from Dicks' support to the "manufacturer" for warranty support, but Monarch is owned by Dicks. The back of the paddle wrapper lists Dicks' headquarters in PA as their address and ASL, LLC (Dicks' registration with the SEC as the manufacturer.) Long story short: two instances of this product failed (rattling inside and feeling dead) within a few weeks of purchase, Dicks' support won't help, and there is no other company to look to for warranty, so they effectively have no warranty. I will be buying a different brand of paddle and shopping elsewhere from here on, as Dicks' support has done nothing but point me to a nonexistent third party for help.

We have quite a few different pickle ball rackets and I will say this brand fell apart in slightly over a month. Could not return them or exchange them. Disappointed

I bought this to replace an older monarch paddle. This one is a little thicker, but feels about the same weight. I really like the way it looks and seems to have helped me perform a little better on the court.

Much like some of the other reviews, after around 20 or less days of playing, already the guard all around the head of the paddle is coming loose.

I played with the paddle about 25 times. I loved it at first but then the head of the paddle became loose like it was coming apart from the handle. It is unplayable. Tried to return it Dick’s and they were unwilling to help. Would not exchange or offer a refund. Customer service is terrible at Dick’s. I will not shop there ever again.

I enjoyed playing with the paddle…but the overall quality of the paddle was extremely disappointing. Played maybe 20 times and the top of the paddle was coming apart. I couldn’t even play with it anymore and had to return it…very disappointed in the product! Won’t be playing with Monarch again.
