Quality, But Some Design And Sizing Issues

I am 5'10 and based on the size guide I fit a small long. However, the main issue I had was that the torso was too short, even with the straps at maximum length. I do not believe these would fit someone taller than me unless they have a relatively short torso. The quality seemed great, but these bibs would be better if there was a front zipper or if the straps could be unhooked. At its current design, you have to lift the straps over your head which is almost impossible if you also have on a helmet. If the torso length could be adjusted along with the strap issue, this would be a five star product.

A Little Bit Big, And Torso Too Short

The pants have a great color and I like the quality of the fabric (both the pants and the "chest" fabric). They fit big. I'm 5'4, 135lbs and the medium are too big. However, the torso is too short for me (I can't tighten the straps to get a good upper body fit). Giving 4/5 because of the fit. Otherwise great product.

Close But Not Quite

As a 5’10” 140 lb gal, I was excited to see a women's bib offered in a tall size. I purchased these as my work pants for ski patrol. I am on the mountain and wear these bibs 30-40 hours per week. Pros: the inseam of the leg is just about perfect, but may be too short for anyone taller. The side zip is convenient for when nature calls! Cons: the fabric of the bibs is quite delicate. I’m likely using these pants a bit harder than the average skier since they are my work uniform, but in the 3 months I’ve been wearing the bibs, I’ve noticed some wear and tear beyond what I would have generally anticipated. The worst areas of wear are in the pockets and knees. The left pocket has a tether and is where I wear my beacon. The pocket has ripped and started to delaminate. Both pockets have developed small holes— again because I keep equipment in my pockets— but why have pockets if you can’t use them? Disappointed that such an expensive pair of pants probably won’t last me beyond this season. I wish outerwear companies would make durable quality items available in women’s cuts for female snow professionals— there are lots of us! Reinforcing the knees/pockets with cordura would be a nice option. Also, there isn’t much stretch to the bibs and they have a tendency to ride up with movement.

On The Small Side

Not a great range of motion in these ski pants. Im 5'7", and I order a large. It was still tight in the legs when I squatted. Not ideal for skiing

Perfect Fit, Great Quality!

These bibs are amazing. You may think you would lose style/fit/quality with bibs, but you will be very pleasantly surprised and eager to hit the slopes and apres activities in your new bibs. There is waist/hip cinching system that you will love! They are extremely comfortable on, will not inhibit any moves and will add value to your day!! I'm 5'6", 127 lbs and have them in small / short. The length is perfect, but if you are over 5'6" and have long legs, go with the regular length.

Everything You Need And Nothing You Don't

After being pleased with my MH shell, I decided to try these bibs and so glad I did. So far they've been worn skiing and snowmobiling in various conditions, from 28 degrees and snowing 2" an hour, pouring rain, and cold dry single digit weather. The waterproofing is superior, and blocks the wind well enough. The fabric is comfortable and doesn't feel constricting. I'm 5'2", about 130 lbs, with pretty beefy legs and butt. The medium short is definitely roomy, which is what I wanted to allow for layering and freedom of movement. I LOVE that there are options for length. This should be standard in the industry! The leg pockets fit a phone perfectly and have stayed waterproof. The chest pockets are more for sunglasses, chapstick etc, and not a phone, but you shouldn't have your phone right next to your beacon anyways. The zipper works well enough for peeing. It's a pretty easy process. Overall, this bib is just a great no-nonsense product that does exactly what you need it to do: Keep you dry and comfortable.

The Best Of The Best

I'm a long time snow professional. I bought these after an extensive search for bibs that are goretex, flexible upper, hinge seat to answer the call of nature- in nature, smart low bulk design. These fit the bill better than any AND they come in short, regular and tall inseam. I'm in love.

Needs Improvements

I bought these in a short large. I am 5'3" and 150 lbs. My lower body is thick and the large provided that extra room for extra layers and flexibility. The chest pocket fits my iPhone 12 with a case on vertically in the pocket. The middle pocket on the left side of your waist is really only big enough for chapstick and my airpods. The pockets on the legs aren't really functional but are huge. You really can only put flat things in them. There are no back pockets. I also do not like the fact that the straps do not have the ability to quick release so you have to duck under the suspenders to put them on. It's really a pain. Had MH just put quick release on the side that you step into it would have made life much easier. The side vents are nice and deep so you can cool off when you get hot. I also wish they would have put zippers on the bottom along the leg to make it easier to access my boots. The shipping experience was HORRIBLE!!! I purchased on a Monday. At checkout it said my pants would arrive on Friday of that same week. I finally received my pants 2 weeks, yes, 14 days, later. There were no weather delays that would have held them up. It took them 10 days to leave the MH facility according to the tracking information. Had I known that I would have paid for expedited shipping.

No Butt Flap Is Super Disappointing For Womens Bibs!

Admittedly the no butt flap is my bad because it isn’t listed in the description. However, my boyfriend has the same bibs but the mens version and he has a butt flap! So I ordered assuming it was a given: the womens would have a butt flap too since you know we have to sit every time. Having to take my jacket and bibs off every time I use the restroom completely is a huge pain and design flaw. Goretex is great and I love the deep purple but I will be returning.

Great Bib

Finding pants in any outdoor brand is a challenge because sizing is still skewed towards more petite women. I am 5'6, 140 lb, hourglass shaped with a 32D bust, 27" waist and 39" hips and athletically built thighs. I ordered a medium tall and the 34" inseam is actually perfect and just hits the floor without shoes on. Pros: Built-in cinch belt around waist - this is a genius add! High front pocket allows to sit comfortably over the chest while keeping the girls secured and the straps flat over the traps Overall really comfortable pant Cons: Drop seat zipper is only on *one* side. It does not have the dual zippers I was expecting. This feature was why I ultimately went with Mountain Hardwear and I think an added zipper would make this pant 5 stars. Needs more room in the thigh/outer hip area to accommodate for layering and different body types No cinch or snap around the inner boot liner
