These are quality pair of down pants. They feel great. Sizing is true with an extra bit of room so you can pull them on top of your layers. The specs are really off. Size large was 408 grams on the scale.

I swear large in almost every brand, and they should have fit according to the sizing guide, but these large were way, way too big. I ended up returning the Large and getting a pair in Medium, which fit so much better. Overall, I really like these insulated pants. The fabric repels dirt and snow, keeping me warm and dry. My only complaint is that they are quite loud. I thought I would wear them for cross-country skiing, but they'll likely be too. disruptive. But for general purpose outdoors in winter, they are great. The stretch is sufficient to keep me moving.

Warm and cozy. Used at camp, not for hiking. Perfect fit.

These are perfect to have for cold dog walks, apres ski or run. They’re perfect. Run a little big but no complaints.

I hear a lot of reviews saying they are roomy in the butt and thighs… a dream for big butted adventurers like me! I typically struggle with adventure gear only working for athletic builds, but these fit great! I have a big waist to hip difference and there is a cinch to help keep the waist tight. The rise is great, goes up to my belly button. I got a size large so they wouldn’t be tight in the butt or thighs and they drape beautifully, with plenty of room for base layers. If you’re a curvy gal these are for you!

Absolutely terrible fit. The length was right but unless you have a HUGE rear, you won't want to be seen in public these. I'm 5'6, 112 and could easily stuff a towel between each hip and the pants. I really wish these were actually sized for a small woman as I love the shimmery material and warmth. Sent them back.

I purchased these for a trip to Finland next January. I love the fit and feel of these pants, They are lightweight and stretchy, which will allow for ease of movement. Also, for traveling, they fit into a small packing cube. I think they will be excellent as a midlayer in Finland's winter temperatures. I was worried about which size to order, but I chose wisely with a Regular Large - I am 5'2" 160 lbs - they fit perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these after worrying that my Mountain Hardware down pants without a tough finish were going to get hurt in my hiking. WOW these are great!!SO glad they make these in Long, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my first down pants and they are really comfortable without being too bulky. I wore them in 20 degree weather and was toasty the whole time. They do have a slight swishing sound but not enough to stop me from wearing them around.

Soft, no bunching, move with you. Warm, warm warm without layers.

I was very nervous about the fit when I bought these because MH pants don’t seem to fit me well. I’m 5’3”, 118lbs, and bought the XS in regular. The length just barely fits me. I would have preferred the longs, but I need them for an upcoming trip. The XS does have extra room, especially in the hips and butt, even with a base layer underneath. The quick synch system is okay, but I would have liked it to be adjustable on both side, because it bunches up on the right side seeing as that’s the only place you can take in the slack. Overall, it’s a nice pant, and for a camp pant, it will do its job! I’m still excited to have them! I love the fleece pockets. Just wanted to provide some fit information. :)

OK first of all the material and warmth are unbelievably great. I give 5 stars for this. The fit is not good. They are poofy and too big on the hips. I got a M ( I am 5’8 150 lbs) I have a straight body shape. Maybe I needed a S? The legs fit good but not the waist and hips. I don’t know. I really wanted to like them a lot as they are very light, warm, and comfortable but they have too much fabric on the hips. I returned them.

I absolutely love these pants. They are a bit poofy but the best ever. Light and warm. True to size I bought them in December as a present to myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fit is great! Ive worn these both as an outer layer and under shell pants when in -20 Fahrenheit. I love everything about them! Pockets are nice easy access and actually deep

I bought these in November. I teach Tai Chi outdoors year round and always walking on the Maine coast. I needed insulated stretchy pants. Couldn’t get the Patagonia nano air pant and when I saw these, had to have them. The price is steep and wasn’t sure how they would hold up. Every time I put them on, I am so grateful. They are light, stretchy and warm but not too warm. I’ve worn them at 40 degrees down to about 15 so far. Even had a wicked gale wind as we did our slow set and they were perfect. These pants fit slightly loose and I found that a pair of silk long undies take care of any cool breeze. I can move into lower postures in Tai Chi easily and the warmth keeps my knees from aching. They are perfect for long walks in the cold. One complaint might be that they are a little slim for athletic calves and a zipper there might nice. Also, if you don’t wear either leggings or long underwear underneath, you might feel some coolness but not cold. Silk is the perfect under layer. I’m 5’7” 135 bought a small.
