I've purchased more than 4 pairs of these shoes for myself! ... and where do I start -- they're beautiful, comfortable, safe, functional & the best shoes to run in dirt, on the road, track, trail, beach wherever no matter the weather...hot, cold, rain, snow you're run is secured your feet are safe with these I promise. I got this pair for my son and he loves them too but don't believe me, try them for yourself! THANK U NIKE!!!

I just ran one of my fastest 5k's on a trail course with heavy rain the night before, and my feet are dry. These shoes are great, lots of cushion and grip. As other reviewers have mentioned - there is less ankle support than desired, but once I tied a runners loop on the laces my ankles felt very secure (look it up if you aren't familiar). I usually wear a 12, but got the 12.5 and it fits perfect.

These shoes have a unique feel and very comfortable. Love that the toe is covered with a coating. The gortex makes them waterproof. It my 3rd pair of Nike Gortex shoes. Tried other brands of waterproof shoes...nike beats them all.

Tight fit not just on the sides but the tongue pushes down on the top of your foot. The cushion feels great but these feel painful elsewhere after a while.

These have got to be the worst fitting Pegasus model. And I've been in a lot of Pegasus models going back to the 90s. The material sewn to the tongue is too tight and makes this a shoe more for narrow feet. And the worst part is the heel is about an inch too low, no matter how tight your heel can still occasionally slip out. If you're in the fence pass on this shoe.

Strapped them on they seem great so far. Fit for me seems fine. I will add elastic laces because I always do but not needed for comfort. Feel cushy yet supportive. Glad I ordered. Nice offering. Dry feet will be a bonus as well!

This shoes have a heel slip problem that causes my ankle to twist and results in significant pain. I don't experience this with my other running shoes, so I believe there is a design issue with how these shoes align my heel and ankle.

I would like to provide a review of the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 GORE-TEX, which I have been wearing for as a Truck driver with numerous deliveries. These shoes have proven to be remarkably effective in wet conditions. The challenges of entering and exiting the vehicle, traversing soaked pavement, and enduring rain throughout the day put any footwear to the test, yet these shoes consistently keep my feet dry. The GORE-TEX layer performs exceptionally well without rendering the shoes overly stiff or heavy. Traction is another standout feature. On slick surfaces such as wet asphalt and concrete during deliveries, I have experienced stability with minimal slipping. This is particularly important when moving rapidly or carrying gear. The grip remains reliable, even after prolonged exposure to rain and puddles. Highly Recommend!

And this is a great shoe with good cushioning. The only problem is that the Gore-Tex version is very narrow. I even sized up as I’ve seen on their reviews, but the width is the problem. I recommend it to somebody with narrow feet

I bought these running shoes about a month ago. With warmer weather now I have used extensively on nearby bike path. I wanted trail running shoes for wet, rougher terrain. So far so good. I read reviews that these shoes run small but ordered my normal Nike size and fits fine - actually quite comfortable. Dick's had on sale and I ordered online for store pickup which went flawless.

I had already owned the non gore-tek model of this shoe and love them. The cushion and overall comfort of the non gore-tek is great, so I expected the same on these but quickly found that not to be the case. The gore-tek version is a lot tighter on the top of my foot, to the point it almost hurts after a short time of wearing them. And the cushioning is not the same either, not near as spongy as the original. The overall quality is just as expected, just not as comfortable as I was hoping.

Fits true to size, I had to cut the membrane holding down tongue. Now i have more space and the shoe still fits and is secure.

Terrible. Can't wear em. Each step sounds like a "flip flop " step. It feels like your heal is slipping out with each step. . I'd say these are defective shoes, I've been a customer of Nike for a long time, and these are the worst shoes ever! These are unwearable shoes. Please don't tell me about a return and waste more of my time. I'll use the shoe laces as spare and the foot liner too.

I purchased these in February for a waterproof running shoe option. Having been on several easy runs I can say that while the waterproofing seems to work, these are far too narrow, have little cushion and are way too tight across the top of the foot even after adjusting the lacing. They are plenty long enough, and I do not have wide feet, so going up a size is not an option. I would consider all other waterproof running shoe options and avoid this one.

I bought these Gore Tex running shoes a few years ago and wanted another pair. My feet are long and skinny with a flat arch and these give me the best support.
