The fit gives that relaxed street-wear look I love, and it’s perfect for tossing on after the gym when I want something light to cover up with. It’s definitely too heavy to work out in, but the oversized fit is really flattering and easy to style. Even though it’s a men’s jacket, I actually prefer it. I love wearing men’s pieces, especially full-zips, because they offer a style and fit that you don’t always find in women’s options. And honestly, did I mention how much it elevates my whole look? It adds that effortless, sporty vibe that I love in the Nike Lifestyle collection.

The patterns on the outside gives you a sleek and futuristic look, while maintaining all the features that Nike does best with training gear. The Dri-FIT technology of the material allows you to stay dry while working up a sweat during training. The padding on the inside also gives you heat insolation to wear during this fall/winter season. It will make for the perfect undershirt while doing any outdoor running and training. As it gets cooler I plan on doing just that. While working out I was able to do everything that I normally do with full range of motion. Nike excels at performance and style. The material is form fitting, but it is not restrictive in any way.

As soon as you put this top on, you feel the difference in the feel compared to other performance tops. This top is well suited for performance with its ribbed design and moisture absorbing fabric. Not to mention, the tight but loose fit gives the ability to run or jump without the interruption of a lot of extra fabric. Individuals who may not necessarily be in the market for a top for playing basketball, walking, or jogging this shirt is perfect for you, too. The mock turtle neck on this top makes it perfect for overlaying with a short sleeved shirt, a pair of jeans, and sneakers. This is the perfect top for anyone looking for a multi functional top this fall/winter.

Washes and dries easily, so it’s a great piece for a multi-day sweaty trip as well.

Unlike many thermal layers, it’s not itchy against the skin, and it breathes exceptionally well. This makes it easy to wear for extended periods without overheating or feeling restricted. It’s not overly warm, which at this time of year actually works in its favor, providing a balance between insulation and breathability. The standout feature is the cooling panels on the back, which effectively reduce sweat build-up when carrying a backpack or while sitting. This detail makes it especially versatile for both athletic use and everyday wear. My only complaint is that the grey accents break up the look in a way that some might find distracting, and an all-black option would likely look sleeker and more versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shirt is true to size I usually wear an xl for a slightly bigger more comfy fit and it fits exactly how I wanted to in terms of length and width. It feels like premium soft material that doesn’t disrupt any sort of physical activity. The design is unique and innovative and it’s evident in the overall style. The fabric didn’t feel incredibly heavy for how premium it is. What stood out to me the most was the overall design and how effective it is in serving its purpose. If there’s one thing I would change it would be the sleeve ends, they feel a tad bit wide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon arrival, this shirt was definitely thicker than expected and fits a bit tighter than expected. That being said, the material is fantastic and the mesh pieces at all of the sweat points is a great touch. My husband loves the feel on the body but again said it was a little tighter than expected so it definitely runs a little small. Definitely the perfect undershirt but also fantastic alone for any exercise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore the Nike Tech Pro Layer Longsleeve Top to the gym for cardio session, including treadmill intervals and stairmaster sessions, and it performed exceptionally well. The slim, athletic fit offers just the right amount of compression without feeling restrictive, allowing full mobility through high-tempo movement. During cardio, the Dri-FIT fabric kept sweat under control while mesh panels provided noticeable breathability, especially in heat-prone areas like the back and underarms. I was able to work up a sweat without my body overheating, staying dry and comfortable. Additionally, I love the left of the top, since there is no bunching during workouts. The streamlined design looks sharp and functional, making it a solid piece for both training and layering, especially important, now that we have entered fall season. If I could change one thing, I’d add a slightly roomier fit option for those who prefer less compression—but overall, this is a high-performance top built for serious gym.

I particularly like the style choice with the grey and black contrast along the back and on the sleeves. Although this is a men’s top it seemed to fit well on me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this top for the start of the NFL season and some tailgating. I was looking for something that would help keep me warm without getting too bulky while layering and boy did this deliver. This fits so good, it’s tight without being constricting and has breathable panels where you’d want them. Sometimes when you overlayer for get hot you get that bead of sweat in the middle of your back but this has perfectly placed mesh. What I’m most impressed with is how warm this top is. I honestly didn’t expect it to provide as much warmth as it is considering how light and thin it is. The design is fine, it’s a bit too early 2000s for me but it’s really not an issue since I’m wearing it as a first layer. I’m super exciting to get lots of use out of this this fall/winter. This deliveries on everything you want from a warm first layer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a fantastic base layer that I can use for running biking and even skiing and any thing outdoors in the winter. It is sweat wicking so when I build up a sweat, I don’t freeze immediately after. It is also super comfortable and fits incredibly well. I typically wear a size medium, and this fits just right, not being too tight and uncomfortable, but also not so loose that I can’t wear anything over it. From a style perspective, my only feedback is that it does kind of look like a rash guard on, especially with the short neck.

Perhaps it's because when I do opt to wear a layer, I'd prefer a simpler and lighter layer to build my outfit around, but this just doesn't seem to be my cup of tea. With that being said, I can appreciate the more tactical aesthetic and how this top hugged my body and really lent itself to be a solid base layer for the right person. I'm sure once I break it in a bit and get more comfortable in it, it will become a solid choice for my gym wardrobe, especially heading into the cooler months. All in all, this is a very solid longsleeve top, but it just might not be for me for the time being.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Tech Pro Layer Long sleeve Top is a tight fitting performance top with some warmth to it. I am a large and this shirt fits true to size. This is a great undershirt during cold weather sports as it is snug, but still allows for easy movement. The high collar is great to keep out the wind. This would also be a great workout or running shirt in colder weather. As it is still a little warm where I’m at, I wouldn’t wear this shirt much yet. As soon as the weather starts to change, you can be sure it will be part of my running rotation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is pretty comfortable and definitely keeps me warm. The inside is lined with this grid of what almost feels like brushed fleece? Was definitely surprised by the inner lining's texture when I pulled this out. But it's very soft, and I suspect it's what makes this top so warm. I thought the grid texture might feel weird on the skin, but I don't really notice it when it's on. It's nice to get some variety of heat tech clothing since a lot of heat tech looks pretty basic. This is nice and has some gray details breaking up the basic black top. Not groundbreaking design, but it is a good looking shirt. Didn't really notice this until I took this picture but since it's a tight-fitting top, you can kind of see the grid pattern that's underneath when you wear it. Especially when the shirt bunches up and wrinkles which it's sure to do when you move around. The shirt naturally folds along the grid lines. It doesn't really bother me cause my priority is the fit and comfort, but hey, thought I'd mention it.

It’s smooth and a perfect fit very flattering and great for working out. The material is buttery soft and appealing, I would love another color ! I used it to go hiking it was extremely comfortable, went to the gym after and really enjoyed how it felt on my body.
