This Is A Perfect Combo

I bought this kayak because I wanted a sit-on kayak, but I also wanted an SUP. I took this out last weekend for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations. It is heavy, and I had some bruises getting this on top of my car, but I managed.

Awesome!!!

Very stable! Love taking my 60 pound dog out with me. Love how easy it is to get back up on it. My boyfriend gets up on mine to climb into his. It’s very stable and reliable Love the cooler/storage area. I got an ice block from Walmart for $3 and it fits perfectly. Also, great way to cool down your phone.

Perception Stand Up Paddle Board Review

These Paddle board/ Kayaks are wonderful!! Easy to launch, and use up and down the river. very comfortable seat and plenty of space for taking along your cooler and other needs.

One Of The Best Purchases I've Ever Made

This hybrid kayak is everything it says it is and more. Its elevated seat is so comfortable and the SUP style flat top lets you move your legs around and put them in the water. It is nearly impossible to tip - I can sit on the very edge of one side at 140 lbs and it does not tip over. The back platform is great to sit on and float with your legs on the water for a cool-down break and it couldn't be easier to get on and off, even in open water, and transition from sitting to standing (especially using the included pull-up strap). The storage under the seat is ample. I have no issues tracking straight with the fin attached and can keep up with regular kayaks no problem. The only downside is it is fairly heavy and large and hard to maneuver alone. Cartop storage is best done directly on the crossbars as with SUPs. Kayak racks do not work well with this. Absolutely worth every penny!

Paddle Board/kayak

I love this I can kayak when I want too & I can paddle board when I want! Standing up & sitting down is easier on this!

All Boats Are A Compromise - But This Is A Good One!

No boat big or small will do everything and handle every situation. That’s why there are so many different styles and sizes for every body of water. This hybrid “SUPYAK” has most of the features I wanted in a small personal watercraft. I’m a swimmer and especially like lakes, calm rivers, and saltwater bays/lagoons. This allows me to get in and out of the water, navigate fairly large runs, and either sit and relax or stand and work out my core and stability.

Great Hybrid With Best Of Both

I recently purchased this for both kayaking and paddle boarding on a lake. Very stable, glides across water nicely, high seat makes transition to paddle boarding easy. You have so much freedom of movement on the deck. Deck foam is nonslip and comfortable, storage under the seat is nice, length of board is great. I am 5’9” tall and plan on kayaking with a dog in the future ( ample space for pooch in front of you or behind you. I haven’t attempted to use pull up feature on the back of board if you decide to take a swim. Will buy another one the future for family and friend use.

I Love It!

I love that I can use it as a kayak and a paddle board! The only problem I had was it did not come with attachment to keep fin in place and I lost it, this is the only reason I took one star off. It would be nice if it had a retractable fin. I love the compartment under the seat for extra storage. I can jump off my kayak and use the back half to climb back on easily.

Best Of Both!

Had no idea such a thing was made. Love the SUP/Kayak combo. Seat is really comfortable and dry, its not as wide to stand up like a normal SUP board but still easy enough to adjust. Price is right but paddle is sold separately and that paddle is awesome and worth getting! I love the options of this product. Totally fits my lifestyle!

So Far, I Don't Have Much To Base A Review On

I bought this and took it to the nearest lake. Well, the rudder wouldn't screw into the board because the mounting nut was installed off-center and canted. The is no way to install the rudder and that makes the kayak track like an inner-tube. We'll see what happens after customer service at Dick's and/or Perception looks at the issue.

Love This Paddleyak!!

I love this paddleyak (thats what Im calling it lol). I bought her about a month ago so glad that I did. I have a few kayaks all diff makes and modles and inflatable paddle boards as well. I seen her on the website and fell in love I mean its the best of both worlds. I did some reserch and youtubed some reviews before I bought her. I am very happy with her. Very stable for paddle boarding. She is alittle wider then my inflatable boards so she seems more stable it choppy waters. She is flat on the bottom so she is not built for speed. She is by no means a slug on the water but dose not glide threw the water as easy as a yak that is angled on the bottom. I just have to paddle more to keep up with people who are in a more sleek model of yak but that is one reason i enjoy yakin so much its excersise I enjoy doing so its a win win for me.

Completely Amazing!

My husband and I love our Kayak/Paddle Boards! They are super sturdy, you don't have to worry about it sinking since there are drain holes through out it, and my husband and I were able to ride on one while 2 of our kids rode on the other. My husband weighs about 180 pounds and I wright 125 pounds, so that will give you an idea of how much weight one can hold without it sinking too far in the water. With him paddling, I sat on the back and then switched to the front of the Kayak / Paddle Board. We really wanted to see what these things were capable of. Anyway, when I sat on the front, he had to move to the very back of the board in order to distribute the weight properly. Another cool thing is you can lay down on the front as well. Love the storage compartment under the seat and the adjustable straps of the chairs!

Nice Quality Hybrid Board/kayak For The Price

I purchased two about a month ago and am very impressed with them so far. My husband is a heavier man using them for the kayak version & has liked it quality & steadiness. I am an average size female & my daughter a smaller adult female and we have found the steadiness of the paddle board not comparable to a regular paddle board but perfectly acceptable for the price point we bought them at. Would definitely make the same purchase again with the experience & knowledge we have now after owning them for a month!

Meh.

I've taken this out 3 times. It's not wide enough for a paddle board, and too high to kayak quickly. It's good for very calm, slow, paddles.

Awesome Hybrid Kayak/paddleboard

Lightweight but durable easy to use as both sit on top kayak and stand up paddle board
