Just The Right Cropped Vest.

Prana always make quality products. I am 5-3, 115 lb, ordered size XS, This jacket is cropped, but not too cropped, it hits at hip bone length. The inside is all fleece lined, and outer shell is nylon, so it's going to wear very well; there is drawstrings in pocket to tighten/losen the back bottom seam. Very well made and thought process to make this a light weight, not bulky, yet warm vest.

I feel I need to review because I almost did not buy it after reading reviews. The vest looked exactly like what I was looking for but after reading the reviews I was hesitant well I’m glad I bought it. I love it. Here I’ll give my opinion. A few mention it’s not soft, that the material is stiff. It’s super nice material , the inside is very cozy sherpa, doesn’t scratch anywhere. Not stiff at all. Shape: someone talks about a gather in the back looking like a turtle , the gathers can be completely eliminated, for a flat look. There is a cord on the inside to loosen the gathers or not as much as you like. I love the cord and gathers , if it’s very cold you can gather it tight for more warmth if necessary, or totally loosen them . and this feature is great. The boxy shape is very much in style these days and what I was looking for. I love it . I’m 5”2’ and a 34B and got a small. Hope this helps others. I liked it so much I’m now purchasing the Encinitas jacket .

This Vest Is Awesome!

This vest fits awesome! I have a curvier shape and vests tend to either make me look boxy or fit really tight. This vest is flattering and has a drawstring back that gives you room to move. Can’t wait to use it hiking.

Looks Good, Lacks Comfort.

The materials are there, the color is pretty (I got the cream color) and I like the cinch-bottom optionality. But if you zip this up all the way, the material that hits your chin/neck is *not* cozy. It's pretty uncomfortable to have fully zipped, which totally negates the purpose for me personally. I use vests to keep my core warm and with no neck comfort/coziness, this is just not a vest I reach for.

I LOVE this vest! It's warm, simple-yet-stylish, and I love that it is shorter than most women's vests and hits at the hip. The quality is high and I love the dark grey/black color. Pockets are deep and warm. I wear a 32DD, so I often order a women's large to accommodate my bust even though my shoulders are a medium. I ordered a large in this vest and it was way too roomy through the bust. I returned it and ordered a medium and it fit with a few inches to spare for laying a hoodie underneath.

Great vest! I wore it during chilly mornings & at sunset on Dante's view in Death Valley NP in February. It worked great. Was easily packable, kept me warm when needed, but was breathable enough I didn't over heat. The vest is a bit more of a boxy fit so it may not be as versatile as other vests. I love the look though. I am 5' 5" 140lbs with shorter torso, and the M fit great with room for sweaters under.
