Typical Prana - Sizing Inconsistent

Whether the item is mislabeled by Public Lands or Prana, the sizing for these pants states 30 inch inseam. It is not - when measured, the inseam is no longer than 27 inches and these go to my ankles. Prana makes great quality materials, but their consistency has always been garbage and frankly I'm tired of constant returns for the same reason - inconsistent fit/sizing, regardless of purchasing the same item. I plan to return these and will be looking for a different hiking pant as my standard.

Quality fabric and workmanship, but the length is disappointing, especially with the straight leg. I’m 5’9” and these barely reach my ankle, and the knee darts don’t line up where they should unless I’m standing.

Best Pants I’ve Bought

I bought these on a whim in hopes they’d fit. My boyfriend owns a pair of pants from here and LOVES them. So I said ok, I’ll try. And holy moly! The fit of these pants are AMAZING!!! I wear a size 22, and I’m 5’2. They hug my hips and thighs perfectly without being uncomfortable and they flare a bit at the legs to go over any hiking boot or shoe you’re wearing. The length I’m shocked wasn’t bad at all! Typically when I buy pants, they are entirely way too long and I’d have to get them hemmed to fit my short legs properly. But these were perfect when worn with my hiking boots. I was so impressed I bought two more pairs and will be buying more in the future

Can't Get Enough Of These Pants

Great material, I like all the improvements done to the pockets and to the roll up legs. Material is a little thinner than past models but this only improves the fit and stretch. They are still very durable. Great fit and very comfortable. Should be noted that these are sized a little differently, They are a whole size smaller than my Halle Pants from previous seasons, but both my size 18 and size 20 fit exactly the same! Minor issue, the pants themselves go from hiking to office casual with ease. I will never stop buying these so long as they fit me. ;)

Disappointing: Stretch Out

I wanted to love these pants but there's just way too much stretch and they look dumpy after wearing them a few hours. I had to size up to a 22W (I normally wear 18W or maybe 20W) because the smaller sizes were tight on the waist. The pants looked really nice when I first put them on, but within an hour or so of wear, they really stretched out in the leg and waist. At least they have an internal tie to hold them up, but the design would be better with some elastic at the waist given that the material stretches out so badly. I bought these pants for a hiking trip to Banff and not only were they practically falling off my body after hiking for a bit, but they just looked frumpy. I expected more based on the other users' reviews.

I’ve been looking for flattering outdoor plus size pants for so long and cried when I found these. I was worried they would be a slim 22 since I’m on the upper end of my weight range & this being an outdoor brand, but they fit and look so good!! Plus they are way more comfortable than I expected. The material is light and soft, the length is perfect with boots since I have a 29 inch inseam, and there’s even some stretch over time. I’m so so happy & would/will probably buy again.

Love the material of these pants, flexible, lightweight, stretchable. Would give 5 stars but wish they weren’t such a low rise pants, still great for hiking, walking, camping, material is super durable, favorite pants to travel with as well. Looks better than wearing leggings but still has the comfort as wearing a pair of leggings.
