So Comfortable And Cool In All Weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed socks for hiking during the heat of summer and cool of fall/winter but couldn't find a sock that fulfilled both weather conditions. It was recommended to me to try Smartwool socks and I am so glad I did! They fit perfect - even after washing in WARM water with a low dryer setting. They stayed soft with no pilling even after a 6 mile hike with a 3000 feet elevation change. My Smartwool full cushion crew stayed across my toes with no bunching and no slide in the heals or uncomfortable wrinkles across the arch of my foot. I loved that though I was sweating like crazy, my feet stayed dry and surprisingly cool. They aren't thin like a regular crew sock but aren't thick like a full blown wool sock. They are a very comfortable in between. They have just the right amount of padding in the toes and balls of your feet and heel to allow for a snug but not tight fit. I will be getting a few more pairs of these for this coming spring!
