15 Years Of Excellent Service

Returning customer. I originally purchased an Eclipse in 2009. I'm here to replace my favorite head apparel after more than 15 years of excellent service. There wasn't a day that I didn't get interest or a compliment.

Great Color, But Uncomfortable.

I love the light purple color that I bought. I have been happy with my other hats from Sunday Afternoons. Unfortunately, It shows my sweat. Also the inner seam along my forehead presses into my forehead and leaves an indentation. I have tried adjusting the tightness, but then it is too loose to stay on my head.

Rear Velcro Adjustment Strap Attaches To Clothing

Pros: Fits well, nice color, comfortable and cool. Cons: Velcro adjuster in back attaches to and damages any soft collar (sweater, coat, etc) Because of this I stopped wearing this hat. The ventilation flaps on top are too prominent and look like flat wings.

Had To Replace The Old Cap That Is Wearing Out

I purchased this cap many years ago for its sun protection and convenience. I liked the profile of it and how it fit and how comfortable it was. It is beginning to fall apart after all these years so I bought two new ones. They are slightly different, with a taller profile than the older type (same name and model) but they have better sun protection as they are newer. I'm glad they're still made. My only disappointment is the profile is taller and not as attractive.
