Delivery Was Good, But I Was Charged Sales Tax Twice, Still

Well it is a warm quality coat, goose down and puffy, insulated hood and pockets. But that is the problem, it only has two pockets in front, and they are vertical not angled to easily put your hands into. There is one thin inner pocket, and that's it. For any utilitarian situation, this lack of any additional pockets is troublesome; I am used to having pockets on the side, on the chest, in the sleeve, a couple inside. Now I will have to have some other thing to carry important objects with me. So, the coat works for that fundamental, warm and ok. But nothing more.

I bought this jacket for the winter, it worked for the cold but the velcro on the bottom opens when you walk and the cap is small and tight. See other options before making this purchase.

I live in southeastern Massachusetts, and it's been unusually cold this winter. I researched different brands of insulated parka coats for men and came to the conclusion the North Face Nuptse Parka is supreme. I love how immediately effective it is in blocking all of the frigid cold even with less layering underneath. On my workdays in the office, I wear a business suit year-round, and this parka takes the place of my usual black wool overcoat. It is light and versatile enough even for warmer days. I've been a fan of North Face since 1989 when I purchased my first Gortex down parka from them. I adore their quality workmanship, and the zippers last forever!

Warm As Toast With Little Else Under It. Sleep In The Snow!

Went out in 20 degrees with this coat and just a tee shirt under it and was toast! Super warm but this coat runs large and very long. Short guys should not buy this bad boy. It almost came to my ankles!
