This is similar to other kayaks in the same price range, BUT this is a foot shorter, therefore fits inside an SUV such as a Honda CRV. So far I have only used this on small ponds and it has been great. After a few hours my back starts to bother me a bit, but I’m almost 50 and not going out for 5+ hours at a time so this is no big deal.

This is a good boat for your money its way better than a lifetime if you don’t have a lot of money this will do it, I own 2 eddyline kayaks but i wanted something that wasn’t over $1000 and a sit on top kayak, went ahead picked this up i launched it from the beach it does great pretty stable. Depends on your weight will determine any boat’s performance, all in all i am happy with the purchase.

I bought this kayak on a 2 day flash sale. It was an incredible price and I had to do it. Its night and day difference than a starter kayak, for similar price. No brainer! It's very sturdy, light enough to throw on top of car my self, and

I ended up returning it because the one I purchased appears to have been used...missing scupper plugs and mud inside. I would definitely go with this over some of the lifetimes, but the seat is not as nice

I bought this in July of 2022 and am happy with the purchase. It is only 9 ft. long and weighs 42 lbs. Easy to put on and take off the car. Very stable in the water. Weak primary but very strong secondary. I got caught in an eddy and was thrown from the kayak but it stayed right side up. I am 6 ft. 4" tall and fit very comfortably. Amazing considering this is only 9 ft. long. There is so much leg room that I think someone 6 ft. 6 and 7 inches would do fine. It tracks decent but is somewhat slow. Great for younger people or older because of its stability.
The skipjack 90 is a junk boat and vibe has become a company that sells junk! They say seamless Toto mold but the scuppers are welded together top and bottom half and they are Necer lined up meaning only a very small area or plastic thickness in those areas. This becomes a problem when they use scuppers under the seat to add weight capacity but if the scupper is half thickness then the boat is half capacity. That’s why this is a junk boat. They know it’s a problem but have done nothing to fix it in their “cheaper” boats. This boat is a VERY cheap built kayak that WILL leave you stranded! There are much better options for less or equal money

I bought the Skipjack 90 about a month ago. I was looking for a lighter weight grab and go kayak. It is sturdier than I imagined, and fits my needs perfectly.

I bought this a few weeks ago, great product all around!

We purchased two Vibe Skipjacks and have enjoyed using them. We especially love the handles at the ends, making it very easy to portage. Stays upright, is sturdy. Only thing is that these two Vibes do have a bit more drag than a Perception we also have, making it a bit slower going through the water. We like these kayaks.

Bought this last summer and I must say this is my favorite little kayak. I mostly use it for recreational use and this is by far the best. It tracks well for something so small. It is not very heavy but feels sturdy. I never feel like I'm going to tip over in this. I have used in rivers, springs, and even kayaked to an island offshore in it. It took waves over the bow and it just drained right out threw the scupper holes. I am about 6ft 185lbs and I have no issue with this. If I had to pick something to complain about I'd say get a different seat if you have back issues, as the seat that comes with it did not provide enough support for me. Highly recommended and will def purchase another one in the future.

I bought two of these in the last 3 mos, one for my Daughter whom lives in PA and myself here near Cape Cod area, MA. She is so excited and can’t wait to use it.

Vibe offers many conveniences like the sealed hatch right in front of you. Handles are molded into kayak. Only downsides are that the foot rests are not very functional and the seat could have been better like some of their other kayaks - ended up purchasing a better seat that mounted perfectly to the kayak (just folded the backrest back out of the way).
